Recently the owner, Jessy Owen, has instituted extended hours for the gym with access provided with the purchase of a key card. The concept seemed straight and simple with the signs displayed and speaking with several staff members about the extended hours access. Both failed to convey that hours that were accessible with a regular membership, are now limited to the upgraded key card access. With these restricted block periods in effect throughout the day, you are almost forced to pay the fee to upgrade your membership. Without warning of these restrictions, the key card price also rises each month for no apparent reason. Customers are left to feel the deceit, even casually expressing dissatisfaction inside of his gym. With the knowledge of his inflated consulting fees with the South Yuba Club franchise and now this deceptive tactic at his own gym, it is sadly becoming apparent that money is a priority over his customers. Become a member here at your own risk, with the expectation that rates will continue to rise and more unethical business practices to be employed.
