The sad thing is that probably is a pretty good club. I just cant figure out why they dont want you to know about it. I showed up at 8:15AM to see if I could get some membership/pricing information. NOPE. The sales force wont be in until 9AM. "You cant tell me?" No sir, I dont have that information. "You dont know what it costs to be a member here?" Yes sir. Can I get your name and number to have them call you? "Uh, no" I then called at about 10:30 and asked to speak to someone about membership/pricing. After a need to clarify that I was not an existing member, I was asked for my full name and telephone number. I did not give my number (attempting to avoid the telemarketing onslaught)....I was, amazingly, transferred to ................Voice mail. SO, I hung up. Not to be thwarted I spent my lunch hour heading to the "Club" and made it to the front counter where I was greeted warmly. I asked if I could speak to someone about membership/pricing. I was told that there would be a short wait and given a form to complete. This form contained a waiver. A waiver? I read the waiver. I think I was going to be also signing up for Obamacare and then I saw that I was ALSO granting permission to be ..... TELEMARKETED .! So, I wrote NO across the waiver, and only put my name on the form. I handed this document back to the counter person who could not understand why I didnt want to provide email, phone #, EMPLOYER NAME (why would you need to know my employer??) I was immediately told that I would NOT be allowed in the facility if I didnt sign. I asked why I would want to be in the facility and she told me that I was going to be getting a tour. I made it clear to her that I ONLY wanted pricing information. "Dont you want to see what youre signing up for" was her form of response..........ah. I get it. There was gonna be some selling going on from the Sales team. I was told I could stand in the lobby and wait if I wanted for the next available person. So, I walked over to a sales desk, pulled out a chair and sat down. Played a bit of Solitaire on my phone while I waited for.........Steve. Steve was a nice guy with plenty of information. And I did get the pricing info I wanted after also hearing about the amenities and such (same stuff they put on website) and they are in a big renovation (meaning lots of work going on for the next 6-8 months) --- good to know since I am in no rush to leave the club I go to now. Perhaps in 9 months Ill check it out again....Ill set aside most of a day apparently to do so. Too bad too. Its more expensive that the place I go now and doesnt have any more amenities that I would use...I guess if I was a tennis player it would make sense, you can see those from the parking lot without a waiver!

I recently signed up here and expected to be able to use the day care during the day time between 1-3 as this is when I have the opportunity to actually work out. My daughter naps in the mornings and afternoons so I was really counting on them being able to watch her while I got my gym time in, in between naps. To my surprise the second day I went I brought my daughter and it was 12:30, as I was leaving the kids zone I was told "You realize we close at 1, right??" I had been told by NO ONE when I signed up that they randomly close the day care during the day and now that I am there ready to work out I only have 20 minutes because they stupidly close the kids area for those two hours that I need! It seems on google those two hours are their least busy times too, which tells me this is a hassle to other people as well because they know not to come during that time that they will not have someone to watch their kids. When I asked why they do this they told me because they are not busy enough during those two hours, but it makes me question whether or not they have even tried to stay open during that time frame or if it is because they do not want to have to legally provide two breaks or a lunch to their employees working there instead of one ten because it turns their shift into 6 hours instead of 5. This one thing would make my experience SO SO SO much more enjoyable because now I find myself not being able to make it as often as I want JUST BECAUSE I do not have the child care I need during the day when I can actually send a happy baby to them and not have them page me 5 minutes in because she is tired and being grumpy. UGHHH. Too bad I paid money down so my monthly payment would be less otherwise I would join California Family Fitness because not only is their day care open all day- they have a 6 hour limit instead of a meager 2 hours, which is barely enough time to do my work out WITHOUT a shower afterward. I want to love this gym but the daycare situation is really REALLY getting to me. I pay for my daughter as well so I feel I really should be able to utilize the daycare the same hours that the gym is open.

This gym is wonderful. It is a huge space, with lots of amenities. We have been members for a few years, and it has been a great experience- especially since we have small children. The daycare is top-notch, and my kiddos feel like the staff is family. Miss Valerie and Miss Nicolette are great teachers. After trying to lose baby weight for a year on my own, I booked a few sessions with Glenda, a personal trainer. (She has the best physique on the planet.) Her instruction and expertise literally changed my body in a few weeks. Great people, great environment. And the kiddy pool is wonderful if you have small children.

I enjoy the convenience of this gym, but for 79.00$ a month you would think that that would be wise enough to have an online bill pay system if you want to pay early, instead they require you to come in even if you are out of town or unable to get to the club and if u cant make it in guess what you get a late fee . you are required to pay on the 2nd . This Sports Club WILL NOT BE FLEXIBLE with people on changing their pay dates. also they have posted that their hours are from 4 am -11pm ON GOOGLE which is not true it is from 5 am to 10 pm and even if u tell the people that work there to fix it they dont.

In 20 years, I have gone in twice. Both times because they would not give me information over the phone. When I have gone, they have given me a free trial and I have NEVER returned. It is high pressure sales, like buying a used car. Too bad, they are within 2 miles of my house and instead I drive to Folsom to Broadstone Racquet Club, twice the facility, half the price, worth the drive. Millennium has had several changes in ownership, but none have changed their approach to Customer Service, or their lack of interest in their clients. OK facility, but nothing near what they charge.
