Mortifying. Similar to the multitude of other reviews, I do not recommend this place in the slightest. Paid no attention to my requests. One of my biggest requests, that I was very clear on was to not touch my sideburns. First thing he did was shave them completely off. I even showed pictures of my prior haircut to help guide him toward what I wanted. In less than 10 minutes, he butchered my hair. Then without listening to my concerns, took off the drape and asked for payment. I paid and left without much fuss as I didnt want my hair anywhere near him for another second. Will never go back or endorse and its unfortunate because our initial conversation while waiting was fairly cordial and pleasant, otherwise 0 stars undoubtedly.

Newer look inside but an old style way and feeling of getting a cut. Family owed the attention to detail is apparent. Always a warm how are yeah, as you walk in with newspapers and magzines to flip through if there is a wait. They got kids chairs as well, a race car and a police motorcycle for the little guys! Yet it is all about the clean cut plus warm shaving cream around your ears and neck! All carefully removed with a straight razor, yeah the kind guys used ages ago. Felt so clean. Sends you off with a little shoulder massage too - a pleasant touch. Great hair cut and superior abundance makes this place along with the friendly barbers who work there.

I have very bad experience in that shop. I dont understand how place got all the stars on entrance door. It is not only that I didnt get haircut what I wanted. He never asked and I thought he knows what he is doing. Im regular guy and have simple haircut. Beside small cuts from razor I got uneven haircut. And place is not cheap. It is $19 for haircut. Block away it cost $12. I guess today I go to cheap place to get it fixed. Just wish I can post pictures to show his work. I recommend to stay away from that shop.

The barber reeked of marijuana, completely disregarded our request to keep our sons hair long for his first haircut and nicked his ear despite my pinning my sons head in place when he was getting upset. He reflected back to us that he understood our request in saying he would shape it, and keep it long. The result: oddly misshaped hair cut to mid-length, a waste of $20 and a ruined memory of our sons first haircut. We were completely misled by the awards and positive reviews, and wont be returning here.

I havent been to a lot of barber shops in Brentwood yet (I moved here a year ago), but I seem to keep coming back to this one because the staff is so friendly, its clean, and the barbers know exactly what theyre doing. They use the razor which is hard to find these days, plus they have the magazine on the top shelf if you know what i mean. If your a newbie ask for a hot towel or a ride in the massage chair. Tell them big Al sent you.

WORST HAIRCUT EVER!!! 1st time being here, it screamed good reviews so I decided to go in. biggest mistake of my life. Got sat in the 1st chair from the entrance. I went into detail of how I wanted my hair but in a nutshell, short at the sides long at the top. He cut my hair short all over and shaved my eyebrows, it seemed as if the guy was just cutting peoples hair how he felt fit and disregarding their requests. NEVER GOING BACK.

Stopped by on a Monday to my suprise, useally barber shops are closed sun and monday but this one was open. 2 guys working, 1 person waiting yet my wait was maybe 5 minutes. Got a great hair cut, very clean shop and cool inside as well - total throwback place with 50s music going and BS about all topics. Will be back, cheap too $10 less than the chick at Great Clips down the street and quicker way better haircut too.

Do not go here. You will not get what you ask for. You will most likely be lacerated multiple times if you ask for a razor fade, or a shave. He will probably find a way to cut you without the razor. What tops it off is that this place is the most expensive in town. $20.00 for a crap haircut. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL! FIND ANOTHER SHOP. THIS PLACE SEEMS TO BE ON A DOWNWARD SPIRAL. Told him im growing my hair out and that I just want it cleaned up cause it was getting messy and he proceeded to give me a buzz cut, cut about 3 inches off. And its not even a good buzz cut, its all patchy and different lengths all over. What the hell man, now im at a different barber to get it even, which involves cutting off more hair. Im very pissed off.

So I walk in this place and ask for a medium fade. Zero to 2.5. Simple. Do it all the time. The owner gives me a high and tight. Oh yeah, tells me AFTER he huts the top with a 1, that he does not have a 2.5. Will never go back. Do not recommend.

Wanted a pomp and a very very very little trim on my beard. Starts talking and shaves my entire beard off. All makes me pay him. Terrible place. Dont know why its still in business. Will never go back I would advise you not to go.
