I was a member last year. My membership expired in May 2016 upon which I got a renewal notice in the mail. I got another renewal notice in June. Then in July I got a notice which said that I owed them 3 months of fees for my membership. I called the office to discuss this, and the Director of Membership, Jerry, explained that the agreement I had signed in 2015 stated that the membership automatically renewed. When I asked why the membership renewal notices did not mention this, he just said "I cant help that you cant remember the details of the agreement that you signed." He was very adamant, uncompromising and unfriendly. Ill go pay my 3 months penalty and then theyll never see me again and hopefully anyone I can spread the word to about their unethical business practices. The day after posting this message to Yelp, the general manager contacted me and removed all charges.

I have been with this health club for over 15 years. I stay with them because its closer to my home. The staffs are never care about their members. The classes are not that great, cause the instructors they hired are the cheapest I believe so. For example, Zumba classes are popular but the instructors are lazy and dance ugly. Sometimes, they have a Sub., they are much better than the one they hire for regular classes??? Why is that??? I try to suggest for many many times, nobody cares, anyway... :-( Somebody suggest us to switch to PJCC for the better classes... but that is a bit far from me... The facility is huge and with lots of staffs to do... but please hire some good instructors... we all spend $$$ and time to come... we just want to have a quality exercise and have some fun... dont ignore your members requests....

As a memeber at Primetime for over 3 years, one terrible day my car got broken into along with 3 other vehicles in the DAYTIME!!!. All my belongings were taken. When I tried to speak with the management, even the owner, he told me it was my fault!!! He did not even listen to me about why I felt unsafe on his property. He said this was my fault and said I could never become a member ever again. When I contacted Burlingame Police, they had a very long list of robbery at Primetime Athletic clubs location. Years of crime and all the owner does is blame the members. If you are a criminal sign up for Primetime, they will love you there!!!!

DIRTY, MUSTY, STINKY and UNHYGIENIC. I agree with other stating that the staff is aloof and rude. But the worst part about this gym is that it is DIRTY and it STINKS, literally and figuratively. The place is carpeted throughout the building and there a musty funk that permeates through the air. The place is a dirty mess, the cardio machines are disgusting, the locker rooms smells as if the rugs are never washed. The place has nice machines, but they are disgustingly dirty. I have been a member for 5 months and I am disgusted each time I walk into the place. Management should perform a deep cleanse to this place

I had the worst experience with a tour guy. Really rude and dont know how to be nice at all! I did even start there and i will not going back. I need to feel welcome and relax in a place where i am paying to use as my gym or Club.I think he should be training again and maybe be less judgmental! When i was done i stop to say bye to my friend who was in the swimming pool. did not take 5 minutes he came so stressed saying that was not acceptable to me to do that...I did not know that rule otherwise i was not going to break it! Wow what a good start. left me a bad bad impression..

I have been a member there for about a year, in total. Not a great place. In fact, it is the dirtiest gym I have ever been to. Extremely old carpets throughout, which seems like they have never been cleaned. Even in the changing room they have carpets. Not nice. The toilet section of the men shower is repeatedly so stinky that you have to hold your breath when you are passing. Front level staff is generally very nice. Member services and contracts less so. I suppose OK value if you are using all the amenities, but terrible value if you are just using the gym.

I have been a member of Prime Time for over 20 years and watched the evolution of one of the nicest clubs on the peninsula. Not snooty ... not a slimy $19 gym. This is one of the only five star clubs in the area. Love the racquetball membership and leagues. Tennis and pool time in the summer. Tons of classes for FREE and very competent trainers ... some have been there as long as I have. Starbucks upstairs with WIFI. Great value for the money

Ive been a member for about 2 years and the place has gone down hill since.. Not only is it not clean, but most of the equipment is really old. The mens showers have mold in them and Im pretty sure the hot tub is only drained and cleaned once a month. The steam room always smells like B.O. and feels more like a sweat lodge than a steam room. I wish there was a better gym in the area because I would leave Primetime in a minute..

Prime Time Athletic Club is my gym. The folks there are great! The facilities have plenty of machines (with the exception of a Smith Machine. They only have one and could use more). Theyve recently updated their look and it looks great. They even included a phone charging station, how awesome is that!

I love this gym because it doesnt feel like a warehouse. It feels like a nice club with many rooms and different environments. Doesnt feel mucho or competitive. Very opposite of 24 fitness. Although its a bit expensive for a single person, for couples its just about the same fee as other gyms.

This place offers a lot. Raquet Ball, Tennis, Basketball(indoor and outdoor), weights, Cardio, Pool it even has a video arcade plus tons of fitness classes. I come around 4:30pm-6:00pm weekdays and its not crowded at all. My kids like the child care and the staff there is very nice, no issues yet.

Lil was very helpful over the phone. She made sure we were serviced and accommodated properly based on our expectations. Very nice facility. We were just visiting for the weekend and were even welcomed by the members. Great equipment and a variety of other amenities.

This place was top notch a while back. Its pretty run down and so many non English speaking foreigners. Very expensive too. The upside is that you have 2 hours a day childcare for an addition $20/mo. Equipment is old and place needs to be updated.

Everything you need in a gym. Im hooked to the group exercise classes that range from cardio, core, zumba, kick-boxing to yoga and pilates. You can easily spend hours in the club at one go.

staff are lazy and rude, parked vehicles get broken into all the time, showers are dirty. do yourself a favor and get 2 years of 24 hour fitness for the price of 2 months here.
