Where do I start with this crew... I literally cannot speak highly enough about Performance Plus. This is not a doctored review to boost ratings - I am a real customer with no affiliation to the shop prior to my recent experience, and can say with conviction that I have honestly never been more impressed by an auto repair business, anywhere, at any time, since Ive been driving. Heres a brief synapsis of my experience: Took my E46 in for a pre-sale tune up (check engine light on from secondary air pump code). From the moment I called, Vic was extremely forthright and pragmatic in his approach, taking time to listen to my situation and framing recommendations as options rather than trying to up-sell, etc. Vic also squeezed me in on very short notice, and exercised unparalleled communication throughout my entire experience. Truly a breath of fresh air. Furthermore, after a very quick turnaround, I received my vehicle back, but unfortunately after driving it for a short distance, the check engine light came back on. I called Vic and explained what had happened - without hesitation he had me bring the car back in, diagnosed it on the spot, quickly identified the issue, and fixed it with lightning speed and efficiency. Moreover - and perhaps most relevant - Vic did not charge me for the second visit, even though his crew spent the extra time working through the issue. Even when I offered to pay for the additional labor, Vic refused, simply stating that it was the right thing to do. This level of integrity, of honesty, professionalism - of work ethic, plain and simple, is a rarity in todays world, and Performance Plus is unparalleled in upholding these values. My experience should serve as a testament to the tremendous level of business ethics Performance Plus demonstrates in the work they do, and that isnt something to be taken lightly. If youre reading this - your search is over. These guys are gold. Do not take your car anywhere else. I certainly wont be. Thanks guys, -Nick

Performance Plus was recommended to me by an associate of my son-in-law. I was looking for an alternative to the BMW dealer for my maintenance and repair needs for my 1998 BMW 328i convertible. The car runs great but needs more maintenance as it has gotten older. I brought the car into Performance Plus last week and dealt with Joe as my service advisor. He understood that budget-wise I could not do everything but needed to space the repair expenses over several months. He developed an A, B, & Cl list of items to do - with A being the priority and C as the least priority. I have done the A items and I am about to embark on the B items. I was pleased that the A items came in for about $200 less than the estimate. That was a first for me with any repair shop. Needless to say, I am very pleased with the work so far. Now the difficult item - the convertible top. I will be back to review how that work went. But overall, I am happy with the responsiveness of my service rep, Joe and the work that has been done.

Ive been bringing my 1981 911 SC to Performance Plus since it was owned by Mark and still wouldnt take it anywhere else. Jim is one of the only mechanics around who still knows how to work on the older Porsche cars. I always leave with a car that runs better than when I brought it in. There is a smog station right next door so its convenient to get it all done at once. Last time I was in for annual service Vic suggested that I bring in my other cars for a try. I have been dissatisfied with Keyes Toyota for a long time so I decided to bring my 2000 Tundra in for service at Performance Plus. Im glad I did. Vic gave me a list of recommended services and I agreed to have almost all of them done. I feel like Im driving a new truck again. The engine and the transmission seem to be running crisper and smoother than before. I feel like it will run safely for at least another 100 thousand miles. Next time my wifes Volvo needs service, its going to Performance Plus.

I needed to find another mechanic to maintain my BMW 325i 2001 because my regular mechanic for years was not well and became too busy and was also located at some distance from my house. I ended up leaving the car with Vick at Performance Plus (conveniently close to my home). They did a great job with it. I have already been back there several times about various other issues with my car which is otherwise actually in excellent shape considering age and mileage. I have found Vick to be unfailingly polite, accommodating, professional, competent and caring. His prices are fair (though no one can say its cheap to maintain these cars). I believe that I have found a keeper to replace my old mechanic who was certainly a master with BMWs but sadly may be past his peak/prime. I highly recommend Vick and Performance Plus for BMW and other German car maintenance needs.

Ive been coming to Performance Plus for almost eight years.... Wow, Im aging myself. Theyve helped me keep my cars in top condition without nickel and dime-ing me for every little thing. Both cars are ten plus years old now and they run great. The other nice thing about Performance Plus are the accommodations. The waiting area is clean and equipped with WiFi, so I can do work while Im waiting for my car. There is also a coffee machine with flavored creamer. Most importantly, they are well connected in the community and offer one stop service. You can drop your car off there and let them take your car to the other specialty places so that you dont have to. I hope you enjoy this place as much as I do.

This is far and away the BEST repair shop for your beloved import or domestic vehicle. Vic is the service manager, and extremely experienced mechanic as well. He takes the time to explain in detail any and all problems you have, always with a nice, straightforward, absolutely undeniable HONESTY unseen ANYWHERE in Los Angeles. For me and my car TRUST is EVERYTHING when I have to take it to a mechanic to work on it. Performance Plus has RESPECT for you AND your car, absolute bullet proof lock down TRUSTED. The place is immaculate, from the garage bays to the office, complete with FREE snacks, water, and sodas, a much appreciated classy touch for sure.

I have been to Performance Plus several times now for my Porsche Cayenne and I have always had an excellent experience. Joe at Performance Plus is a very friendly and knowledgable service rep who never hard sells me on any of the required services that they recommend. They would always let me know what services I should do now and what can wait until my next oil change. Price wise, they are competitive with other mechanics in the area and at least much cheaper than the dealership. I would highly recommend Performance Plus to anyone who needs a good reliable and honest German car mechanic.
