STAY AWAY!! YOU CANNOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!! Absolutely horrible experience. If I could leave Zero stars I would. This is one of the most unprofessional outfits I have ever encountered. I called this shop based on overall good reviews online to inspect a car I was purchasing. I let them know i would be driving up that way from about 2 hours south and the Sellers of the car would bring it in earlier to start the inspection and I would arrive, hopefully after the inspection was already completed, to pay for it. "No problem", was their response. About 45 minutes later, I received a call from the Sellers that the shop was telling them they needed my signature before they could start the inspection. I called the shop and spoke with a woman about this, as it had not been mentioned by the person I made arrangements with earlier and she said it was their policy, but would check with her manager and call me back. After waiting 20 minutes for a call back and not getting one, I called her back and she said it had been approved and would be ready in about 1 hour 30 minutes. By this point, being just 30 minutes south, I pulled over and grabbed a bite to eat with my wife to kill an hour. Next, I get a call back from the Seller who had just arrived back to the shop after getting a bite to eat himself and returning to find tha tthe car had still not been pulled in to be inspected and they were still telling him that the car could not be inspected until I arrived to sign some paperwork. Completely confused, I called the shop and spoke to the same woman who had told me it would be ready in 1.5 hours, only this time, she was telling me that she needed my signature to start. I asked why she had told me the manager had approved to start it without that and she simply said they wouldnt do it. I explained that I had only gone out to eat to kill an hour of time because she had told me she had approval to do the inspection without the signature and that the car would be be ready in an hour and a half. I asked to speak to the manager and the person who came to the phone was the same person I had spoken with in the morning to make arrangements. I asked him what was going on and ahy I was lied to by the woman and why he never mentioned any need for signatures in the morning when I made the arrangements with him to have the Sellers drop the car off earlier so it could be ready by the time I got there, he, much like the lady, offered no explanation and simply said they would not do anything until I arrived. By this point, I was only 20 minutes away, so I just finished the drive - very frustrated. When I arrived, I was told by the Sellers that they were now refusing to inspect the car at all. By this point, I was literally about to blow my top with this shop that had not only wasted the Sellers entire day but was now refusing to do the work I had arranged on the internet in the morning after researching, leaving me with no back up solution at 2pm in the afternoon in a city I was completely lost in. I began questioning why they had lied to me and the woman, "manager" (I believe her son) and an old man began screaming at me to leave the shop. The old man got right in my face and I think he would have hit me had the Sellers of the vehicle not jumped in the middle. It was really quite a scene. An embarrassing and unnecessary one. I will take ownership for finally blowing up at the end on these guys and screaming back at them, which I should not have done. But I will not take ownership of the lies and absolutely horrible way of handling things that led us all to that point. As a customer, that has a choice of where to go, I would strongly recommend people to STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Jason

Amir is grest. I kind of really messed up and asked him to do some work on my car when it broke down by his shop. My normal mechanic was out of the country attending a funeral and I was on my way to the airport to make it to my sons birthday. I made a decision to ask Amir to fix my car before speaking with my normal Land Rover mechanic, turns out the part was under warranty but only if my normal guy did the work. :/ I had to ask Amir to un- repair my car. (Im a big pain in the ass by this point) I wasnt so nice to Amir because I was in a jam and tried to be a cheap ass after he did a lot of work and diagnosed many problems for me. Eventually I came to enjoy working with Amir even though I was in a bad situation and felt like I had limited options. He really and truly did a great job and did it very quickly. He charged me a fair rate for the hours that he put in on my car and I got it towed to my orginal mechanic that put in the faulty piece. If I ever break down again in LA I will absolutely bring my car to this shop! You should as well. Cheers Nicholas Barnes

I wish there were more than 5 stars to click on! Im a 34 year old woman and have had my share of bad mechanics that have lied to me to cheat me out of money!!! I have a BMW and I went to Sherman Oaks Exclusive from a referral from a family friend..let me tell you..they are not only honest but they try to save you money and most imprtantly, treat you like family which means they give you the best service possible!!! I know if I went anywhere else, I would have been cheated out of thousands...they really do everything they can to keep you happy and get your car back to you asap!!! They are a mom and pop store that is simply in the same comparison as going to the dealership and better...because you dont get that same warm genuine welcome with a smile as you do with this family owned and operated business...If your looking to save money and get an honest inspection and service with a smile from a company that cares...I would seriously recommend Sherman Oaks Exclusive!!! I really have nothing negative to say at all!!! When does that happen??? lol:)

Ive had a superb experience at Sherman Oaks Exclusive. Family Oriented, friendly and highly professional environment. Ive had initially taken my 04 Range Rover HSE for an electronic problem that I had which other mechanics including the dealership could not instantly detect. Sherman Oaks Exclusive instantly told me the problem and saved me lot of money on the parts and repairs. They have also saved me tons of money on service and preventive problems that has saved me lot of money on future cost of maintaining my vehicle. There is no mickey mouse business here. I will not go anywhere else for service or repairs except Sherman Oaks Exclusive and I truly have high confidence in their honesty. No wonder theyve been successfully in business for the past 30 years.!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

It was 3 long months ago in front of my friends house that I saw my new Range Rover Sport S/C (used but new for me) go up in a cloud of white smoke. It was a rare instance where the engine blew. In fact it has never happened for my make/model/year. After weeks of fighting with the dealership, the warranty company, driving rentals/loaners, I finally got her back and she is better than new thanks to Amir @ Sherman Oaks-Exclusive. These guys are the best in the business and their prices are half that of the dealerships. Their shop is so clean, you could eat off the floor. If you own a Land Rover or a Jaguar, then look no further for your service needs. They have been in the same place since 1976. Go see Amir. I am a loyal customer for life.
