After the horror that was their first days of opening Ive had a great experience. The front desk gets a little tied up when checking in, but its expected, no big deal. Their minimal staff is kind and just want you to get to what you went there for. Ive showed up around 7ish on weekdays and weekends and Ive never had to wait for a machine. There are plenty of cardio machines and the huge fans and the flat screens make your work out much more comfortable (gives you something to focus on if you forget your earphones) Theres also a security guard roaming the interior and exterior of the gym for that added sense of security. The gym is maintained clean and the patrons do their part at keeping the place clean. The one thing I would like to see in this location is a dedicated water bottle refill station like the Bellflower location, just makes makes it more convenient! Besides that, this location is great. Oh! Theyre a 24 hour location, thats freaking perfect! 1 a.m. workouts are a blast.

This is a nice place although they have very dirty and unsanitary bathrooms and shower (not enough legally to accommodate the amount of members in this club..3 showers) really? Health department would not approve the dirty environment whatsoever. .I am also very upset due to funcus on ALL my toe nails that now all my toes have fungus and I joined two months ago and now this nightmare with NO FUNGUS ON MY feet and summer time with planet filthiness fungus on ALL MY TOENAILS. Medication and also year of this to go away..I want to get out of contract but this is my first attempted then health depatment. THERE NEEDS TO BE A ATTENDANT AT ALL TIMES CLEANING THIS PLACE AS THEY ALLOW MEMBERS TO USE FACILTIES WHO LIVE ON THE STREETS. ..SERIOUSLY AND I HAVE PHOTOS TO BACK IT UP! SHAME ON PLANET FILTINESS

Very clean with plenty of equipment for everyone, even during the busy hours. The locker rooms are spotless. All of the clients have a great vibe with no judgement. My only complaint is that I was really expecting friendlier/more welcoming staff. I didnt know where anything was and I was seriously just a beginner and none of the staff bothered to show me around or help me figure out how to use the equipment, even when I told them on my first day that I needed some help figuring out how to use some of the equipment, they just said that I would get the hang of it. Other than that unwelcoming experience, its a very nice gym.

Omg I love love love this place. I feel so comfortable using massage table, massage chairs, clean restrooms and plenty locker space. So many machines its ridiculous.. Friendliest staff ever!!! All the pampering and perks make me feel sooooo rich for a super low low price. I remember visiting LA fitness in carson bout 3 years ago lol what a joke there was a long line for the elyptical 2 hr wait. To top it off they had a time limit of 20 minutes max that u can spend on the crosstrainer. Uggh Im glad that nightmare is done... thanks planet fitness you dont know how many lives youre changing and Im greatful

I love this spot yes its Planet Fitness and its not the best of the best but it does its job the only thing I kind of find it a funny is that every time you go there late at night which would be 10 at night or 12 theres a lot of cars at a park there and theres only two people in the gym it kind of makes you think where is everybody at but anyways not bad all the girls that go there always have those spandex pants on and boy do they have a lot of ass on them it makes you kind of think they have a bright future behind them if you know what I mean

NOT CLEAN NOT CLEAN NOT CLEAN the bathrooms are terrible and there is homeless people go shower in there Its bad If you make your membership so cheap you should take care of cleaning the place not a standard for health department what so ever The bathroom in the gas station next door is much cleaner that theres.. sad I liked the place at first.... As gym equipments is good People tho use the machines for hours because of the phones as usual your here to work out not to go through your phone put your f.. phone in the locker ...!!!!! Also

Before i came to the store i read the previous reviews expecting a horrible experience. I was totally wrong. I was greeted by both employees, Cashea and Jaime, at the front desk. Cashea did an excellent job explaining the different kinds of memberships and was polite and courteous. After selecting my membership I shared with her how i was expecting a terrible experience because of the previous reviews i read. The gym looks nice. Plenty of cardio equipment, decent amount of weights. This gym and staff look promising.

I recently transferred to the Carson Planet Fitness, and I love it. Staff is very friendly, selection of machines, and free weights are great. And of course all the Black card perks are nice. Locker room is clean and plenty of room for everyone (just like the machines and weights). Thank you for making going to the gym a pleasure. Bonnie

This place is just not as new as other locations. All the plumbing fixtures are old and have bad water pressure. The showers need to be completely remodeled. The mens locker room doesnt have a nice feel to it like many other locations have. This is the worst planet fitness in the LA area IMO.

A lot of the people that workout here dont wipe down the machines or equipment when theyre finished. Ive never seen it so consistently at any other PF or gym. Maybe they need more signs or more cleaning supply stations, but damn people, its a shared space, clean up after your sweaty ass.

The showers need more pressure and the bathroom need more privacy and cleaningness doesnt matter if the homeless go to use the showers or bathroom as long as they clean up after themselves. Other then that everythings fine. God bless yall and happy new year!

Be careful with the small print of the contract! They told us we could pay just 2 months and then they charged us the whole year... We felt scammed. The gym is pretty good and cheap (well, if they had charged what they promised)

Always super crowded and some of the machines either dont work or have some type of problem. But if cardio is your thing then this is the right place for you they have so many cardio machines. At least its always pretty clean.

Typically go there after hours and never seem to find staffanywhere. Theres been times where they put a sign for people to scan themselves in. 8/10 times theres no toilet paper and locker rooms are a mess.

The friendliest & most helpful staff anywhere the place is always clean they have a large assortment of equipment to use including tanning booths for black card members I would not change a thing

Trash. People dont clean their machines and it isnt enforced either. Staff too busy enrolling new people to maintain the gym. Also stalls had no toilet paper and staff didnt do anything about it
