I adore this coffee shop! The pastry is mind blowing, I dream of their lemon croissants. Everything is obviously made with love and care. They also make some very imaginative cupcakes that my child gets super excited for; and my husband can go through an entire box of their incredible chocolate dipped macaroons in one sitting! The coffee is some of the very best in town, very flavorful. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is comfortable. I really cant say enough wonderful things about Tin Roof. I think Im going to make a stop there right now!

I have loved the tin roof bread for a long time now. but the new pastries and sandwiches that came along with the new location, TO DIE FOR. i am eating a chocolate mousse brownie from there as we speak, delicious. i cant bring myself to buy bread from anywhere else now because it just wont compare. not to mention how friendly and helpful the staff is. i know i will be going to the tin roof bakery forever.

We went there for lunch at 1:00 pm and we both ordered a Ceasar salad, the girl who took our order said she had to ask her manager. An older heavier set lady finally came over and said in a very rude way that they will make one salad but not two of them so for us to decide who gets it. We said no thanks we will go somewhere else. We wont be back.

Great food, great price, friendly staff, quick service... I could go on. With so many medicore places for lunch in Chico, this gem is a new regular stop for my family. Soup and sandwhich heaven, coffee was perfect, and what a choice of desserts! The carot cake is the best Ive ever had. Definatly will recommend to others.

I love the concept of this place. Although the experience can often feel a bit lackluster. Food is decent, but I think they could definitely make a better coffee. When its packed, its no fun. Too much noise, too crowded. Go early, and youll be alright. Parking blows...hard.

My husband and I went down to the bakery at 7am to get a fresh ham and cheese croissant and were very disappointed, it had very little taste because there was very little ham and cheese in it and it was very dry and over priced. We will never eat there again...

We LOVE Tin Roof Bakery! The coffee is always good. My favorite is their Mexican Mocha. The food is delicious. The pastries are wonderful! The staff are friendly and when there is a line, its worth the wait. Visit and enjoy!! We do!

Attended reception for photographers with especially nice cheese board for viewers then had delicious, moist halibut dinner. This review was for the Red Tavern restaurant, also in Chico, not Tin Roof !

The wife and i love this place staffs always HELLA nice and eager to help. Foods always really good, I recommend the sandwiches (croissant ones). Soup is always on point (Manhattan clam chowder good).

Pastries are very good! But for the high prices for the sandwiches and salads, they should probably be able to make their salads without having to use wilted browning Roman lettuce and veggies.

Great bread, but insanely crowded with slow moving elderly folks who have a hard time with the fact theres no menu so you have to ask about each selection and stand in line to order....

Great food, both bakery items and lunch. Only real issue is that its so busy at lunch that frequently there are not enough tables.
