Let me start by saying that I have been to this exact location at least 5 or 6 times and never had a problem. I want to also say that I am in the customer service business and work with people face to face daily. So, I went in yesterday (Sunday 10/4/15) to get my haircut. When I walked in I was greeted right away and asked if I needed a haircut. I said, yes. Then I was asked if I would be needing a wash. I said, yes. Since I was going to be doing a couple errands right after. The person at the front desk said it would probably be about 20 minutes to wait. I said no problem. I was more than due for a haircut. Well, it got to be about 30 minutes and my name was called. The stylist (whom has cut my hair on two other visits), apologized for the long wait. I said, no problem. Immediately she asked me if I was going to need a wash (I said yes) and how I liked my hair cut. I explained.... she said, yes, I remember. Great. I asked how the day was.. she said very busy today. And there were a number of people getting various hair things done. And there were some waiting their turn. So, during the course of my haircut, she had to pause/stop to answer the phone a few times. Helped at least 2 people at the front desk with getting checked in. Then suddenly, another stylist comes over and begins to talk with my stylist. The next thing I hear my stylist say is "Ok.. dont worry I will handle it." At that point my stylist faces me to the mirror and takes off my smock and says, "Ok, what do you think?". I guess I was a little taken off guard. I barely got the words, "It looks good" out of my mouth and she says, "Ok, right this way" and makes her way toward the cash register. Where was my shampoo? Where was the offer for any hair product? I mention to my stylist about the shampoo and she says, "oh, dont worry I wont charge you for it". Well, I hope not..... since we never got close to it. I still paid my $15 bill and gave a $5 tip. But, my issue is with how a customer waiting to pay with their money suddenly became more important than me. How, it seems my haircut I was paying for came to an abrupt end that did not include the shampoo or the basic offer of hair product. And, when I got home realizing that the fade on the right side of my head was not done properly and it looks unfinished. I know, that you should never make a customer feel like they are less important than another. No, matter if its getting a basic ($15)haircut or doing a cut and color($100???). So, I recommend that if you walk into this establishment next time and it looks busy.... maybe you should re-think staying.

Updated✂️ I didnt ask her to buy me extensions- I asked if they would get them for me at cost and I would paaaayyy for them. And I never even asked for my measly 15 bucks or whatever it cost - thats not me - and her language below does not befit a lady I must say! I actually went in to the establishment to see if they carried them since they say that its also beauty supply - bottom line and you can see from the reply that customer is not always right here ! Beware. I thought I was doing the right thing by sparing this girls feelings and speaking only to management.. Also why I went back in for lowlights later on..I understand that things can go wrong. I dont understand how someone- the owner- can say I was happy when clearly from my profile pic I had long hair and wanted a ridiculously long bob - the owners reply to me was " a bob is just below the chin". Well thats why Im not the expert and brought in pictures of what I now know is called a " lob " = long bob Idk just beware , trying to be a nice person and not make a huge deal out of hair caused this owner to be totally rude totally dismissive and down right condescending- if we show these girls a picture of long bob - Google it- its defiantly not at your jaw. Maybe its ok I didnt ruin the stylists day or confidence so thats a plus right !! My extensions are ordered and we will get them installed soon!!! Yay me I went in and asked for a really ridiculously long bob haircut I showed pictures my hair was down to my butt - not now it was just below my jaw when she finished - I felt bad for me and for her so I didnt say much- I did say maybe if it was higher in the back it would look more of the way I wanted but she said then it would look like two haircuts -?- whatever I didnt make a big deal. But it really bothered me and everyone I know said go back n say something so I did asked for owner to call I went back a couple times then finally the owner called after I spoke loudly while asking for her to call - she called me and started her convo with a really rude First of all--- blah blah blah I dont know what she said because I was now just pissed -- anyway ten minutes of her telling me Im a liar later I hung up -- dont go here

Walked in and checked in with the front desk gal. She said it would be 20 minutes. After waiting 45 minutes (I waited knowing that some clients might take longer) I asked at the desk how much longer it would be. She said an employee was at lunch and she wouldnt be back for another 20 minutes and there was a person in front of me which would add another 30 minutes. I confirmed I would have to wait another hour and she said yes. There was no way I was going to wait another hour. After being told 20 minutes and then switching it to almost 2 hours is ridiculous. Tell me it will be 2 hours and Ill go run errands. Or choose to come back another day. First time there - horrible first impression. Will never go back.

I payed 149 for highlights and a haircut I was so upset because my natural hair color is supper dark and the ugly yellow highlights looked awful i thought the toner was all over like other places ! I tried to see if i could lighten my base but was told "latinas have natural dark hair and the only way to lighten was to blech it? Wrong !!! Went to Christians on shields they were amazing she put a toner and lighten up my hair i was thankful NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY !!!!

Brought my two kids in today and didnt have to wait but five minutes to have them both in the chair. My kids haircuts look great and are now school ready. I also got my Kenra hairspray on sale! Thank you Haircuts Plus!
