They were most accommodating when I was making a $600+ tire purchase. I later purchased a set of chains, and a friend said she had chains she no longer used. They fit my car. I went back within 5 days to return the chains to Plaza, and they wanted a 35% restocking fee! Really? 35%??? The chains hadnt even been out of the case! When running a small town business, it seems to me to attempt to keep the locals happy. I can tell you, I will not be doing any business with them in the future. Ill drive the miles to avoid supporting them. Oh, and when I purchased the chains, they told me that cables were the only option for my car -- NOT TRUE! as I later found out. Maybe that was the only thing they had in stock and wanted to make the sale. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER IN COLFAX

These people charge EXORBITANT prices , especially for SIMPLE mount and balances...to mount and balance 4 17" tires on my crown victoria cost a whopping $125! Thats MOUNT AND BALANCE...STONES TIRES in truckee charges exactly HALF THAT! ...another gripe is how LING you must wait to get OVERCHARGED....and its not from being busy. I REALLY feel that they dont even care about their customers...if you need tire work, CALL AROUND,you will EASILY find faster, friendlier, better and cheaper services in Auburn or Truckee.
