During a burial service earlier this year one of my spouses relatives was buried there. Before lowering the casket I noticed that they had closed the casket, but had not made sure that the cloth liner was all tucked in before hand. At the gravesite I noticed it and pulled one of the funeral home attendants aside to show him the material hanging out of the coffin. He looked, then told another attendant, but did nothing about it and buried the man anyway, As Is!

This place is pretty huge. Very peaceful and clean. The gates close around 5pm each day but you can still walk around the area by going around the gates (the gates just block vehicle traffic, I believe). We visited this place simply to feed the birds. The place is also very clean and serene.

An old favorite! An absolutely beautiful cemetery with beautiful mausoleums and gravestones. Some very old. West coast old, late 1800s. One of my favorite cemeteries to take a stroll!
