Do NOT go to C&L Auto Body if you want any level of customer satisfaction!!! C & L Auto Body in Arcadia DAMAGED my car. I brought my Integra in to have the paint job repaired in order to get my car sale-ready after a few scrapes. When I returned to pick it up the main area that was damaged (the front) looked great. However, to my horror, they create a huge blemish on the back bumper of the car that had not been there before. It looked like someone had gone at it with an off-colored silver paint brush and let it dry with dirty bubbles and condensation trapped under the paint. Smooth-talking Sergio (dont fall for it!!!) and (Maurice?) tried to argue even though they caused the damage (in what they claimed was the polishing process, they were not responsible. Now Im stuck with a new problem and no further money to spend repairing a problem that wasnt there to begin with. I will not be able to sell my car for as much as I would have if I had gone to a different place. Everyone who has seen it has the same reaction - it looks bad. No one can believe an auto body shop that is supposed to make your car look better would force someone (with threats) to take a car home with new damage. Most of the money I put into the front of the car will be lost with the new damage to the back of the car. Any buyers who come to look at will see it as a car that needs a completely new paint job. My mom and I simply asked that they fix the damaged they caused to my car. We did not want any drama. They argued with my mom and I for an hour and made it sound like because we were women we are too stupid to understand what they did. At one point Sergio, even said to my mother, "Where is your husband?" as if she wasnt capable of understanding their ridiculous claims. They accused us of wanting a free paint job (we paid $600!) They wanted us to pay $300 more to fix their mistake! They tried every slippery approach to weasel their way out of their responsibility. (Watch their contract - they threatened to start charging us fees and take a lien against the car.) Even though our lawyer advised us not to pay, we found C & L so unscrupulous, we did not know what they would do. They even tried to intimidate us by driving my car out of the parking lot while we sat in my moms car discussing what to do. It was this big show to tell us they had the car and the power. I will be contacting the BBB and report them to state consumer agencies. I may even pursue legal action to prevent this from happening to someone else in the future. Do NOT go to C & L!!!

I have used C & L twice in the past month. The first in a minor fender bender, and the second for a total loss accident. The first time, Sergio, worked with the gal who hit me, got a rental for me which she paid for and had the work done in 24 hours. It was done perfectly with no trace of the event left. The second event involved much more. After being in a major collision out of town, my vehicle was towed to C & L to be torn apart fot the estimator to come and make a decision about total loss. When they finally received the car, they went straight to work in time for the estimator to get out and inspect the vehicle. They made sure he saw everything so that he could make an informed decision. They also had to work with me, a panicked victim who had no idea of what came next. This shop gives you their all. From the receptionist to the owners. The work is beautiful and they make sure that their clients needs are put 1st. The estimates both $ and time are spot on. They stay in touch and let you know that it will all be done as promised. I recommend C & L to anyone with body and accident problems to use this shop. You will be highly satisfied with the experience.

C&L Auto Body has something special! Theyll make a 1982 look like a 2012, theyre honest, straight forward, they do quality work, and work magic! Dont let the insurance companies choose who will repair your car, tell your insurance Co to use C&L. I did. C&L will go to bat for you, trust me...My father, my brother, my mother, and myself have all called on C&L to work the kinks out and make new again at one time or another. We are all from the San Gabriel Valley and C&L Autobody has always been around here, and are here to stay. My only complaint is that they are located in 45 mins away from Orange County, and yes I drove 45 mins to choose C&L Autobody to make my 2002 Toyota Tacoma (my baby) look like new! B.D. I have used C & L Autobody 2 times myself on my car and my wifes car. I have also referred my mom to them as well and she has used them twice. I have worked with both Sergio and Maurice and what I like most is that they are cheaper than If you go to your dealership and they give you options. Do you want a repair or new parts? When my bumper was damaged on my new Prius, I called 2 Toyota dealerships and was told the price of a new bumper would be $950 to $1,150 when I went to C & L, my price was $798. They were able to get the bumper, paint it and put in on in less than a week. They even gave me a ride home! I tell all my friends and family to go to them. I NEVER tell people to go to any business unless I believe in that business.

Ive been using C&L Autobody for probably at least 20 years. Every time my kids or I and now even a couple relatives crashed a car, we take it to C&L. They are very nice and professional not to mention, cool. Their work is excellent and they stand behind their work. In the many years Ive worked with Sergio and Maurice, if I ever had a concern about the job, pricing, billing or something like that, they were always patient and did their best to address my concerns. I have never written a review for any company before. However, because I think these guys are so good, I thought I would take the time and give them a good review. They deserve it. Took my car in just to have the front bumper painted due to rock chips over the years. They didnt match the paint right and tried to give it to me in the dark so that I wouldnt notice. They argued with me that it was the poor lighting that was causing me to think it didnt match. Took it back the next day under sunlight and they agreed to repaint it. I get it back and guess what...they painted the whole hood and front quarter panels to match the paint they used on the bumper. Still not right. Now my factory touch up paint doesnt match whenever I get a new rock chip. Sergios a good salesman and talks a mean game when you bring your car in, but Im passing the word to stay away. Im not going back.
