I never leave Salon ETC unhappy with my hair. They are experts in their skills and continue to train with new trends, hair care, and techniques. An example is that I like long, "chunky" layers with texture and no "steps" (especially when styled straight). Ive gone to multiple so-called award-winning salons and they never get it right. I always went back to Salon ETC later to fix it. Ive left to try other salons only to come back again and again. Ive had my hair colored dark and even went blonder with no fail. They will consult honestly and with the health of your hair in mind. Ive wanted to go blonder faster but with my very dark hair they recommended in stages so as not to damage my hair. So I did! And Im glad. I dont deal with split ends or over-dried hair. And now Im very blonde! Ive referred friends and family there who have all been happy. Janet flawlessly cuts my hair. Maye flawlessly colors my hair! Thank you, ladies for your years of fabulous pampering!

This salon is awesome. I have been coming to Maye and Yelena ever since I moved to El Dorado Hills, 6 years ago. My hair has never looked this good. I get compliments all the time in restaurants and malls. My hair looks consistently great. Its everything:the cut and color. I go every week for a blow out too, which is so reasonably priced and you walk out looking like a movie star. I have recommended this salon to my mom, sister and sister in law and they are all clients now too. My sister drives from San Fran to get her hair done by Maye. I highly recommend it!

I really like going here. Ive had a different technician almost every time, but of the 8 or 9 times Ive gone in Ive been treated very nicely, they all do a great job (mainly pedicures for me), the work lasts a long time (often weeks in between visits until my nails are just too long to stand), they chat or respect my silence, and their prices are very fair. Not to mention great hours! Highly recommend!

I am the owner of a business in EDH, and I frequently recommend Salon Etc. to my customers. Most everyone Ive sent there has thanked me profusely for the referral when they see me again. If you want to do your friends a favor, tell them to go to Salon Etc. I would never go anywhere else - every stylist Ive worked with there has been terrific!

Mae is wonderful. As usual she did a fabulous job on my color and style. The color is very natural and the style is wash and go ... just like my lifestyle. I tried many a salon prior to finding Mae and she and her staff are wonderful. Everybody is friendly, easy going and never snooty. Great relaxing place for a couple hours of "me" time.

After a horrible experience at a neighboring salon (my hair literally looked like a wig!), Ive found my way back to Salon ECTETERA, formally Sofie! Sofie! Salon. Yelena, youre a Master of Color and an Artist with Scissors. Thank you for saving my hair and my sanity!! Ill never cheat again. Youre the best!!
