(Check yelp review for pictures) My boyfriend just got his haircut here, he has longer hair on the crown of his head and the rest is just shaved (to the scalp, with a straight razer). No fade, simple hard line between shaved and long hair. He was in the shop for about 10 minutes before I met up with him. When I walked in, the man was using what looked like a disposable razor to shave his head and my boyfriend had specifically asked for a straight razor. Because he was faced away from the mirror when the man was working on him, he says he is unsure if he had used a straight razor before I came in. No aftershave or warm towel was applied. The shave itself is uneven, especially near the hard line where his longer hair begins. His longer hair was cut into (most notably a chunk in the back) and he no longer has a clean or even line. Immediately after leaving the shop we didnt notice anything wrong and drove away. However, when I parked the car and looked at him, I noticed what appeared to loose hair. I told him to hold still and proceeded to remove a lock of his long hair. Once we had gotten home, he was able to take his long hair out of his pony tail and another, bigger lock came out. This is when I noticed the chunk that had been cut into the back of his part. My boyfriend also noted the barbers hands were shakey while he worked on him. We will give 2 stars instead of 1 because the barbers were pleasant and they didnt absolutely destroy his hairstyle, but we will definitely not be recommending or visiting again.

I went to this place based on the other review and boy was I surprised! That guy must have been getting his head shaved because the "walk in guy" that cut my hair gave me THE worst haircut I have ever received... now he was nice and talkative, he even sounded proud when he held the mirror up and said "here ya go"! I asked for a standard GI fade, skin faded up to finger length. I got a 0 then what looks like a #4... no fade! I could have done better if I gave my 2 year old a bowl and let her go to town with the clippers! DO NOT GO HERE! I paid $45 + $5 tip to have it fixed. I dont want to post his name but he works Tuesday thru Saturday, he lives in Rio Del, and his hands kinda shake (older guy)... he has been there for 3 years (so he says).... Folks, DO NOT be fooled by the "awards" they have won but be warned! if you want a butcher, go to a locker... not this barber shop.

Literally the worst hair cut Id ever had and the only time that Ive ever had to return to the place to get them to finish. Lop sided and God awful. Do these people even know how to cut hair? I think not. The hair cut I received here is the very reason I have decided to start leaving online reviews. They face you into the room so you cant see the mess theyre making in the mirror. When I was sat in here the second time on that same fateful day, when I took the mirror and started inspecting the mess hed made the barber even let out a little worried groan. Dont make the mistake I did steer clear

Jeff is an excellent Barber/Hair Stylist combination professional. For an additional fee, one can get old school barber service including hot towels and razor edges with scissor cut hair styling that compares with salons in major cities. I have lived in San Francisco, New York City, and Los Angeles. Jeffs work compares with professionals in those areas. Just tell him that you are looking for the full service combination and compensate him accordingly.

Terrible haircut. Second time in the shop, first time with that barber. Told him, close around the edges, taper to longer further up. Got totally scalped. The guy didnt even cut evenly. The only good thing is that hair grows back. The only reason Id ever go back would be to serve a complaint for assault and battery.

Wen to Barber Center about 2.5 months ago. Walked-in and was served immediately. Barber did an excellent job cutting my hair, short, squared back and even trimmed the sideburns just like I wanted. Excellent experience.
