Before my recent trip to The Den I hadnt sat down in a barbers chair for more than 20 years! I was immediately put at ease by the vibe in The Den with the big screen TV playing surf videos....I was given great treatment by Brandon and left feeling like a million bucks! Maybe next time Ill be offered one of those cold Especiales I spotted in the fridge....but I guess my time slot will need to be in the afternoon instead of the morning!

Tucked away in one of Laguna Beachs many former historic roadside motels, The Den offers a unique hair cutting experience. A laid back vibe along with some of SoCals finest hip stylists. Jai styled my fussy hair. At $27 (excluding gratuity) it was a bargain in what otherwise is a seaside resort for the rich and famous. As the former business editor of the Los Angeles Newspaper Group, I highly recommend The Den.

The barber I had was pretty rude, non talkative. Told me on the phone he would style my hair and just didnt despite asking him to. Completely disappointed with this barber shop. It could be so much more. I had to go straight to another barber who fixed the cut and styled my hair.

The only place I go to get my hair did. Great shop with very experienced barbers. Easy booking online. Dont wait until the last minute to book an appointment. Plan ahead because the appointments fill up quick for the entire week!! Theres a reason why they are always fully booked.
