The gyms atmosphere and employees are nice if you DONT have children. The two ladies who work the morning shift in the kids Club are unwelcoming. I had to cancel my membership just after three visits. I didnt get the chance to meet the kids club employees before signing up since I came in on a Sunday. I knew I shouldnt have signed up without meeting them first. However, having worked in a kids club myself ,and knowing how friendly, bubbly , energetic and welcoming kids club attendants can be I put my faith in the club and signed up. That is where I misjudged. Upon my first visit I entered the kids club not to be greeted with a smile and a hello. But an irritated face and "Are you new?" "Did you check in the front?" No one introduced themselves. I introduced myself and my children and let the women know this was my first time leaving my children to a strangers care. ...I got no response. Not even assurance they would be in good hands. Such uneasy feelings. The energy was not happy. I felt they didnt want to be there. There was also a large band aid and a baggy on the floor. I informed them of the band aid and picked up the baggy myself.They had babies crawling around. So dangerous!! (It wasnt busy in there. No excuses) Second time I still wasnt greeted upon entrance. And neither were my children. They dont acknowledge you. ...I left my children for a 55 minute class and came back to my 8.5 month old daughter in the same place I left her but knocked over on her back. She was fine but come on! Later that day I called the manager to inform him of my disappointment. He said they were mothers themselves and hes never had a complaint about them...well youre getting one now. I come in for my third and final time a day later. Still no greeting for myself or my children. I reluctantly dropped them off and headed upstairs. I couldnt help but think about how uncomfortable I was leaving them with these unfriendly people who couldnt even acknowledge me and show respect. I pay for your services and I pay for your paycheck. Have some respect and be professional Anyhow.. That doesnt make for a good workout so I headed back down 10 minutes later to pull them out and cancel. Thankfully with a full refund.(assuming Ill get it in three business days). The manager was nice by the way. ...but paying more for these services at 24 hour fitness is worth it if the staff is welcoming and friendly, especially those who work with children. 24 hour fitness also has a separate supervisor for their kids clubs. In the end if you dont have children its an excellent gym. If you have children be weary , and meet them before signing up to see if youre comfortable leaving your babies. atleast for the morning ladies. I didnt meet the evening staff.

City Sports club cheat you of your money and swindle you blind.Beware!! When my husband and I enrolled, they forced us to take a physical assessment training and somehow convinced my husband to take up personal training sessions.They said the minimum period for a training session would last for 3 months and would charge $200/month.They made my husband sign a contract that says its valid for 3 months only and if we want to extend we can.They started the session and used to deduct $200 every month.my husband attended 9 sessions and had 3 more remaining.They said he could schedule it anytime and take up the next 3 pending sessions.Three months went by and we did not want to extend the contract , so never went to renew it.On the 4th month they deducted $200 dollars again.So we contacted them and they told us they will not refund the money.We spoke several times and they said that we still have 7 classes pending. They told us to send a cancellation form and we mailed one.After several days they finally got back to us and told us that we could take up the 7 classes anytime. told them we have signed a contract only for 3 months and we want a re-fund. Finally , they re-funded our money .After few days we went back and asked them for the remaining 3 classes they owed us, as we had already paid for it. They told us that the classes have expired.How ridiculous can this be, we had 7 classes when they had our money and no classes after they re-funded our money. They are such cheats and really hope who ever is cheating us rot in hell!!Its just not about the money, but there is no ethics whatsoever. So if anyone wants to take up personal training sessions from City sports, just be careful i am sure they will cheat you blind.

Worst place to go I been trying to cancel the personal training for more then 2 months and I still havent been able to do it.. just got charged again for another $220.00 for something that I havent used and every time I call to cancel they take my information and tell me that they are going to call back and they never do it. They always say that the only one that can cancel is Scott and I keep calling but still no luck to cancel I have talk to him personally about cancellation and I even ask him if I needed to sighn any paper for cancellation and he said no... so please before you in roll with personal training think before you go to this place

KEEP AWAY! They are completely unprofessional. I start a membership with my wife 2 years ago. 6 months ago I canceled. Today I noticed i was still been charged. Calling them, they informed that my wife had to call too to cancel her account. I was receiving ONE charge of around $50. After the cancelation they continue to charge $34.95. Without telling me. Without my permission. I am going to complain with Best Business bureau. Save yourself and get a more expensive but transparent membership. It was really crowed anyway, one the reason I canceled.

Fraud guys work here. I signed up for their personal trainers program. At the time of registration, the person told me that you can cancel it any time if you dont like it. Now when I realised after 2 months its difficult for me to go regularly, I went their and asked for cancellation. They asked me for 50% of the 12 months fee to be deposited now to cancel it. What BS is this ? And when I said at the time of sign up, I was told that I can cancel anytime without any issues. The manager of the club told me, well that guy doesnt work here anymore.

I feel cheated out of my money. I called the store and talked to one of the employees. I asked her if she could put my account on freeze, she said we can of course. She then proceeds to tell me everything is good, there will be a charge of 10 dollars a month until you want to unfreeze. I checked my bank account the next billing date and they charged me the full 34.95. This is not acceptable, if you tell me everything is taken care of, it better be! Im going in to talk to them, to get my money back. Unacceptable!

Did the guest pass online to try to see if I would like it because I was thinking of either here or one other gym. Wouldnt give it to me because it was only for people who havent worked out before and told to me to just buy the membership even though I had never tried their gym or had any idea where anything in their gym was. Whatever dude keep your petty ass business to yourself.
