Plus: Huge area. Huge selection of machines for cardio, weight training, etc. They have weight machines not available elsewhere. Weights area is huge, and I never have had to wait for either weight machines or weights. If a machine is occupied, just go to one of the other ones. Cardio machines are seldom all occupied and when they are (during peak usage 12-1 pm and 6-7 pm, the wait is never more then 10 minutes. I like the finger + code ID system so you dont have to take your wallet or ID to the gym. Lockers and showers are adequate. When you join, they give you a free orientation on all the machines. Good selection of classes and separate area for classes. Plenty of parking, even during peak times, although the spaces are small and sometimes you need to go to the back or sides of the gym. Minus: It IS A GYM, so there is some "gym smell" and the walls/celing are definitely undecorated. Some of the TVs and some of the cardio machines do go out, and when they do, they dont get fixed immediately. No Comment: Cant comment on the personal fitness trainers but it is easy to get one and they have a separate instruction area. Cant comment on the class instructors. Cant comment on the pool but there is one.

By far the WORST 24-hour fitness (or any mainstream gym) Ive ever been to. The equipment is always malfunctioning (cardio equipment AND weight machines). The equipment is old, frayed, and overall in poor shape. But the worst part is the lockers rooms (at least the mens) is in REALY bad shape. Smelly toilet area, showers have mold growing ALL over the ceiling and overall very nasty floors. The thing I hate about this gym is that people that have to come here because of location pay the SAME price as those with newer, nicer 24 hour fitness facilities. Save your self the time, pain, and disgusting experience of every coming here. I only came here when I had to because it was close to my work, otherwise it really is a piece of trash in terms of gym.

Absolutely disgusting. All of the equipment appears to be about 10 - 15 years old. The cardio machines squeak and make groaning noises when in use. Some of the cardio machines are even missing pieces off of them. The elliptical I used this morning actually had some rust on it. Everything in this gym looks and feels dirty. The womens locker room is completely filthy. The drains (all 6 of them) were clogged up with globs of hair. The handicap shower stall just has a hose coming out of the wall and no actual shower head. There are doors missing off of quite a few lockers. There is what appears to be rust and water damage along the bottoms of the walls. There is nothing clean or nice about the womens locker room at all.

Parking is usually a disaster if you attend after work; cars tend to overflow parallel to E Fremont Ave, but be careful! You might get a parking ticket for $50+ dollars because it isnt a "parking stall." There arent any signs saying you cant park there, so whats the deal? Its not 24 Hour Fitness fault, but it may deter members from going and furthermore -- lose business. Other than that, its just a regular gym with all the expected amenities. Bathrooms can be kind of gross, but its also kind of expected. Also, dont be surprised to see if a piece of equipment that is broken or malfunctioning. =P

This place is absolutely filthy. If you want an infection, come to this gym. The worst part is the mens locker room. It smells like urine and is not maintained. Showers are dirty and are not maintained. There is always a wait line by the pool and even the pool is dirty. I may complain to the City of Sunnyvale about this one. Its a serious health hazards. They should tear this shith*ole down immediately.

People writing these reviews must be spoiled with some kind of ridiculous gym experience prior to singing up. This place is good. If your complaining about the sweat then its time to get a reality check that it is a gym and not some princess workout music video. The smell? Same thing, it barley even smells. AC is always on, does not get that hot. Yes Im writing this review in the summer.

Equipment here is in good condition and is kept relatively clean, but machines are very close to each other. Small, beat up bike rack out in front (bring a cable lock, its hard to U-lock your bike to it). Employees are pretty friendly. However, the locker rooms are dirty (especially the showers) and very dimly lit. Overall, this 24 isnt too bad, and has what you need to get a good workout.

Experience - Bad . Want to share few tips. 1)if you use the word "personal training" ,its a suicide . 2) Receptionist will "recommend" you a personal trainer - dont trust that.Make your decision One trainer Mr "MARCUS" was behind my life to sell the trainer package.Got so annoyed and decide not to use a personal trainer at all.Mostly I am gonna use up my two months and say bye.

Disrespectful employees. Nobody cares about complaints or feedback. They publicise free 3 day trial and the supervisor says Gym is a gym, theres nothing to try. Employees try to con you with higher charges saying that this special offer will end today. If you come right now you can sign up. I got fooled and paid $50 a month for this gym which is not even a supersport

Its average. Ive been there for about 2 weeks every day. The best part is the Hot Tub! the worst part is the "Mens Restroom Area" smells like the manager took a dump and left it for about 10 years I almost yak all over everyone after I worked out. The smell is equal to a Nasty strip club restroom at in Dive Bar, on the darkest streets of a Forth world country!!!

I 2nd the other review that talked about the restrooms being nasty!!! This time instead of a person cleaning up one problem they just put up a sign saying broken, I told one the stuff he slammed the door to the stall hella hard and stormed off...i can deal with old stuff but not with super nasty bathrooms!!! Please 24hr give a crap about your gyms!!

This particular nasium has a nice sauna, swimming pool, hot tub, dance area, and weights. My only complaint is about the members. There are certain "peak" times that it is best to avoid, and those warnings about theft? The warnings are serious. Its not the fault of the staff or the gym, but I did have my cell phone stolen.

The main reason I have to give this gym a low score is because many of the treadmills dont even work or have jammed buttons. Ive told the front desk about this many times, and it hasnt lead to any change over the past three years. Now I only attend the gym to go to the group exercise classes, which are genuinely good.

Low, moldy ceilings in cardio area Elliptical made loud knocking noise every other revolution. Front desk ignored me when I walked in, talking amongst themselves. Only two urinals working in locker room which is also dark and gross. My advice is to find another 24 hr. First and last time I come here after work.

I can only give stars for the group exercise room, and even then its barely a 2-star rating. The entire facility is outdated and just filthy... especially the restrooms. They also dont have a mop/broom for the group exercise room so cleaning up sweat after a zumba/yoga/whatever class is near impossible.
