I attended Jeremys Bumpfit class that is tailored for expecting mothers. Im not very self motivated when it comes to working out, but I knew I wanted to be healthy and didnt know what kind of exercises were safe to do at 20+ weeks pregnant. Jeremy was not only an effective motivator, but he kept me on track up until my 39th week! Baby was born 4 days later, healthy and strong! The breathing techniques he taught me definitely came in handy when I went into labor. Another exercise we did that helped me a ton during labor was labor visualization, incorporating the mental aspects into the workout which I though was awesome!! I would get on the cardio bike and get my heart rate up (contraction) for 45 seconds. Then I would rest for 3 min and go back on the bike for 60 and rest for 2 min etc. During the time that I would rest Jeremy worked with me to visualize the birth center just like an athlete would visualize making that kick or throw. Until Bumpfit class, I had no idea this type of training existed for soon to be mothers. I will definitely be back soon to start postpartum workouts and shed this leftover pregnancy weight! Thank you Jeremy and Performance Fix!!

The Performance Fix is awesome! Jeremy is a dedicated, knowledgeable, and conscientious trainer. Hes a fitness geek, so he is always trying to learn more about fitness; he listens to you, and tailors your workouts to help you reach your goals; hes a great teacher, and is able to clearly explain exercise movements and how they will help you. Even if you know a lot, you can benefit from his guidance. I really enjoy the small group fitness classes he teaches. Ive attended sessions with clients of varying fitness and ability, and Jeremy always creates a safe, friendly, and fun environment to exercise in. The gym itself is stocked with a variety of new exercise equipment: tons of free weights, kettlebells, VIPR, an agility/turf section, TRX, heavy ropes, sleds, etc., etc. You wont get bored!

This place is the bees knees! To start, the gym is very well maintained and doesnt feel cluttered. There is plenty of open floor space to do your workouts and the gym has all of the equipment you need for a great workout (kettle bells, barbells, battle ropes, all the fun stuff). The training staff is also very knowledgeable here. Jeremy, Shea, and Adrian are all extremely friendly and helpful in creating training programs while making sure you perform them with good form. If you are considering a personal trainer or doing bootcamp classes, I would highly recommend The Performance Fix!

I tried the Afternoon Delight 30 minute workout to see if it is really possible to get in a good workout in such a short amount of time on my lunch break. And it is the real deal! Shea and Jeremy were very supportive in ensuring we were doing the exercises properly and within our own skill level. The validation came the next day when I had comfortable soreness in my muscles as proof of a good workout after being stagnate for so many years. Im happy to have found a workout I enjoy, fits in my schedule during my lunch break, and easy to get to from my office in Phinney Ridge!

This place just opened in November 2015 and has a great friendly atmosphere. My work is across the street and they offer 30 minute "Afternoon Delight" small group classes (typically 2-6 people) that are great for a mid-day full body workout that I can take at lunch time. They have more classes, at the beginning and end of the day, that will be good once I build up my fitness level a bit more. I completely recommend trying it out!
