(Note: 2 Star Rating is based on the service during our last visit. The quality of food is not factored in on this review. ) Visited Panera on West Shaw yesterday afternoon with my mother, after a day of shopping. We utilized the drive-through and the comedy of errors began. We had a simple order of two flatbread sandwiches, two bag of chips, and two smoothies... EASY! Not quite. After leaving receiving what we thought to be our order, we drove off, only to realize blocks away that we were given the wrong order. We received 2 smoothies, a tube of childrens yogurt and mashed potatoes. WRONG!!! Immediately, we turned around and got back in the drive through line to correct matters. There was no one in line so we were able to pull right to the front window... Where we waited several minutes, without notice. Finally, the same employee as before came to attention. He knew right away we had the right order and said he would fix it. We gave him the "wrong" order we received and then the wait began... several more minutes passed before he came back to the window and offered us to keep the "wrong" order as it would just go to waste. We accepted. However, confusion set in, as we opened the bag to now see it was once again an entirely different order. This one now had a small bowl of chicken soup, and a piece of bread. As laughter set in, we just shook our heads wondering where the yogurt and mashed potatoes had gone! All we could think, was that the guy was one off on everyones orders somehow. Oh, well-- hopefully our "CORRECT" order would be handed over soon. Several more minutes passed and we finally got it. By now, nearly 10 minutes had passed since our 2nd visit began. And... well-- again, the order was wrong. A minor fault, but now we were still missing one of the bag of chips! But, the employee had disappeared. So, again... we waited for his return... Upon which, we let him know of the next chapter of the mistake. Without hesitation, he handed over the remaining bag of chips... Overall, it was a headache full of laughs, amid the frustrations of a very hot day and the common sense that such antics should not be occurring. The food as usual was fine.... But the ordering process and obstacle of simply receiving what was ordered was a different story! I would like to think the guy working was just having a hard day. Most likely he was... But, by the end of everything, I sure was hoping this wasnt a regular occurrence of his. Not everyone is as patient as we were. At least we were able to laugh through the ordeal!

Food is good. Their drive thru customer service is poor. Order accuracy is important and I was shorted a bread bowl when I ordered a clam chowder bread bowl. I actually received an email response from their customer service stating that a bread bowl is not included in the clam chowder bread bowl. Amazing. I have ordered this before and sometimes you get a piece of bread, sometimes you get a bowl shaped piece of bread , and sometimes you get nothing. I did call the local store immediately to request a credit or reimbursement and they took my info but never sent me anything.

I ordered 2 bread bowls through the drive thru. When I got home one of the cups of soup was only half full of soup. I called and talked to the manager and all I got was a sorry excuse as to why one of my soup cups was half full. I have never had the problem before and I couldnt even enjoy it. Nothing was done to help compensate or please the customer. Horrible customer service by a horrible manager. I wish I remembered her name. I wont be going back and will post on all social media sites of my experience here.

This Panera is in a very convenient location right in the middle of River Park shopping center. Its usually crowded but not so crowded that you cant find a table. The lines go fast and the food is pretty healthy. They have a nice selection of soups, salads and sandwiches with the calories listed right on the menu. They also have a large selection of baked goods and really good coffee. Theres a nice little area for outside dining as well.

Kids meal sandwich looked like a sandwich my two year old made themdelves on the counter at home . It was expensive for one thin slice of meat a swatch of mayo and 2 slices white bread. At first I thought it was a joke...but nope...that sandwich, an appke and a juice box...a small juice box...nearly eight bucks. Ill never go back. Looks like the kid you feel sorry for at shools lunch...because...clearly their mom doesnt care.

Awful management. Ive seen all the managers grab the food with their bare hands. My friend works there and claims all the food is dirty. when people prep the food they dont even follow guidelines and instead they take shortcuts. They leave out the meat to get warm and they dont even temp the soups before serving them. if you get food poisoning from here... hence, they probably were neglecting health code regulations.

I ordered a cup two cup so of mac and cheese and the employee snarled at me and said "we only have bowls" even though I eat here almost every other day. Was he new or something ? Theres a cup and a bowl option and I paid almost $20 for two bowls of mac and cheese with no drinks. I came back and ordered a CUP and it came out cheaper. Hmmm

Pulled up to this establishment and they said they were closing in 5 min. It was 8:50. Their hours till 10. Not only that but they were out of all but 3 soups. Had no Mac n cheese. Offered 5 salad dressings(no normal flavors). Will not go back. Very disappointing.

Food is great! And some awesome staff!!! Always help with special orders!!!!.... but never come after 6 oclock if you want a bread bowl.. 4th time in a row no bread bowls after 6 oclock but at least they actually still had soup this time

I live less than 5 min from there. I order online, then promptly get in my car and head over. Its ready waiting fur me to pickup by the time I arrive. Then I drive home and enjoy. Overall time front ordering to arriving home..10 to 15 mins max.

Their food is always tastes like its been cocked the day before. I always go there to study and every time I say to myself let me try this dish or this sandwich and every time I try new things I get disappointed. Not recommended at all.

The iced coffee is excellent and the large is actually big. I wish all Panera locations had a drive thru, its so convenient. Turkey Bacon Bravo and Broccoli Cheddar Soup with a baguette to dip is my recommendation.

The best place for quick healthy options. Had the best sandwich ever!!! It was called the Napa Valley Almond Salad Chicken sandwich (something like that). Very good stuff. PS half a sanwich will do for most I think.

Usually busy, usually friendly staff, usually a good selection, but not always consistant. I dont think its my imagination either when I say the portions seem to be getting smaller but the prices arent.

Never again will I eat here, the chill was nasty and so was the steak sandwich I ordered. Only good thing that came out of the 35 dollars I dropped there that night was the cookie and ice tea!
