My husband and I have been raving about this place since we stepped foot in this establishment a couple of weeks ago. I returned twice (really three) this week alone, so thats saying something. I brought my son Friday for dinner and my brother for Saturday brunch. It was delicious, absolutely delicious. Everyone is super friendly and always checking up on you, never missing a beat to refill your cup. If you need anything, all you have to do is ask. I have no doubt in my mind I will be here weekly. Thank you for the variety of flavors, you have enlightened me to try more dishes and learn more about the culture.

Mixed feelings and I doubt Ill be back anytime soon. The buffet food was generally good. The fish was really chewy but everything else I tried was good. The employees were friendly enough but the table service was so bad it was almost funny, like "no soup for you" funny. No refills EVER on a three-dollar soda even after asking. Waited like 12 minutes for a second basket of naan. Food wasnt good enough to make up for poor service. Buffet was the only thing available for lunch but it was only $8.99 so the price was right. (Better Indian buffets are sometimes twice that even for lunch).

Being south Asian myself, I usually tend to be a bit more critical of indian cuisine than the average person. As I eat this stuff practically all the time at home, I have a pretty good idea of what tastes right and what doesnt. Flavors of India meets the standards for fine indian cuisine quite well, compared to some of their competitors up Virginia st. towards the downtown area. Their buffet specials are not too costly, food tastes fresh and spicy, the indoor decor is acceptable, and the service is decent.

Not a good option Being an Indian, I can confidently say the food here is not Indian. I was offered buffet instead of ala carte. But I insisted on eating what I wanted rather than what they wanted. The food was really bad. Cutlery had finger prints all over (I went and asked for exchanging what was given to me) Roti and curry were worst. Samosa chat was acceptable though. I hate to waste food, but we had to thrash whole roti and curry. I would avoid this place in future. Oh btw, food is cheap here.

Do NOT let the location scare you away. This is a family owned restaurant and it is delicious. My husband and I came for dinner. I cannot speak for the buffet, but the dinner menu was perfection. Service is different than a traditional American restaurant. Just raise a hand, and any server will be more than happy to help you. It was a refreshing change to being constantly interrupted. My husband and I will be back again soon! Five full stars from us, for sure!

This is not the Flavors of India from a year or more ago. New management and a new chef has resulted in the best Indian food in town. The lunch buffet is a real deal and the quality is excellent. It features a larger selection of vegetable dishes than in the past with a nice compliment of meat and fish choices. The spice level has been kicked up a notch and is just perfect. The staff is friendly and pleasant. Check it out! You wont be disappointed.

horrible customer service and horrible food. Too much of strong spices which gives a bitter after taste in the mouth. when we wanted to order a la carte instead of buffet for the kid, the owner started muttering nonsense. I ate there as there was no other option and suffered from horrible stomach upset for the next 2 days, which ruined my trip. Go there and eat if you want to spoil your health and trip!

The wait staff, while very polite, forgot I was there and gave my table away while I was in the bathroom washing my hands. It took a really long time to take my order, again to get my meal, again to get my check, and entirely too long to bring my card back to the table when I paid. Otherwise, the food was great. Im hoping the issues with customer care were a one-off and dont happen often.

If youre real Indian food fan. Please try somewhere else. Food was distatrous by looking at the reviews I wanted to try here. I would not suggest this place to anybody. Even food quality or taste is not bare minimum. Items ordered were very bad and not food served seemed to be frozen stuff. I have ordered dhum chicken biryani which was smelling bad, and chilly chicken was also bad.

Worst service ever. We have ordered takeout 2 days in a row. Decided to go in for sit down. No other caucasians in restaurant. Staff completely ignored us. Would wait on tables around us & pointedly not look at us. Had to call people over for service. Will NEVER eat here again! Will find another Indian Restaurant to give our money to as Indian food is our favorite.

The food is absolutely delicious. Very flavorful, and with the buffet they have new options almost every day. It specializes in vegan and vegetarian cuisine as well, so theres options for everyone! The staff is super friendly as well, and tend to your needs as you see fit. Overall wonderful atmosphere and great food!

My husband and I ordered the Peas, Pulao, Kadai Murgh, Chicken Seekh Kebab, and Chicken Tikka for dinner. We asked for everything to be extra spicy. The flavors were spot on and the meat was tender and cooked to perfection. The service was friendly, prompt, and accurate, too. We will definitely dine here again!

06.28.2016 As usual good taste although our server ruined it by not informing the chef to make it extra hot. It was mild but taste was not bad. ---------------------- Earlier Veggie people, try their malai kofta (ask them to make it spicy) and paratha. You will love them.

First of all, the service was kind, but very very bad. They made us get are own plates and food. We couldnt understand one of the waiters. There were flys above our food. The food itself sucked. The place is big and bad. JUST WHATEVER YOU DO, DONT COME HERE!!!!!!!

Only reason I am giving 2 stars is cos its Cheap and one of the few Indian places. Service is horrible. They will intentionally not serve you naan etc quickly ,so that you just eat rice. Cheap techniques are used to make sure the customer does not eat a lot.

I had the chicken korma, my husband had lamb korma. Both were wonderfully delicious, spiced to order, and served with endless rice. The garlic naan was fresh and tasty, with a light crispy texture. Very friendly service, definitely recommend this restaurant!

Tastes nothing like real Indian food. The customer service is so-so. Buffet price is cheap enough to be attractive but the food they serve in the buffet is terrible. Lack of good Indian restaurants in Reno is the only reason why this is still up and running.
