I took my dads Mercedes in for service, oil and change filter. Andreas took the car in and complimented me on the condition and low miles the car had. This was the first time I Meet Andreas which is the owner of Bauer German Car. When I went back to pick the car up later that day he said we need to talk about a few things about the car. I did not think anything more than his interest in the car. He started telling me that the car is in need of repairs and they should be done immediately. When i asked him to explain exactly whats wrong he opened the hood and started to tell me that the idle control module is going out? He further started explaining that this is a very common problem and 650.00 will take care of this. I told him that i did not see why we need to change something that was not broken? He told me to start the car and to my surprise the car has a high idle and motor sounds strange? I walked over to look over the engine and see what he was talking about..... AND THIS IS WHEN I NOTICED THERE ARE DISCONNECTED HOSES TO THE ENGINE! I asked him why are these vacuum hoses disconnected he look at me like a deer in head lights as he approached me and slammed the hood closed, I looked at him confused and scared as he started to push me in front of the car. I immediately left and filed a police report against Andreas Bauer. This shop is a Fraud! I had the vacuum hose installed back into place and the car runs fine again. NEVER GO THERE!

This is the worst place to take your car. STAY AWAY! My car came back worse than when it went in. I was qouted and agreed on specific services. Later I was told that the will be a fraction of the initial job we discussed but dont worry about the cost youll save money. I said, no, I want a straight answer. Lets talk pricing first. He qouted the EXACT same price! How does that add up? When asked how is this possible the owner became argumentative and very unporfessional in seconds. I refused and stated Ill arrange to pick up my car. My car was in pieces. The owner refused to put it back to together. Now the brakes dont work as well, left turns make a horrible noise, there are pieces of interior parts everywhere. It sat in his auto shop for months. I called several times a week and would get a rude mechanic with attitude or the owner who would keep telling me he cant talk, hes with customers. What am I? Im in the process of reporting him to CA BB.

I have been a loyal client of Bauer for many years now. Their services are top knotch and always timely! They have very fair pricing, kind staff, and a great place to sit and relax if you need to kill some time. My 2001 Audi has been fully service by them, everything from fixing the window regulators, to coolant leaks, to sensors and tire rotations! They put their customers first, and Andreas makes sure to do whatever he has to, to make his clients happy. I fully recommend Bauer German Auto for all your German Car Mechanical needs!

Very disappointed with this shop. Took my vehicle here, they diagnosed the problem and gave me a quote, which seemed high. Asked another shop that quoted me nearly ½ of what this shop did. When I mentioned the better quote to the shop owner, he stated the parts alone were near that cost. I mentioned the quote for parts was far less, he then looked and agreed with the parts price from the better quote. He was trying to cheat me. DON’T TRUST HIM! I will never go there again.

Andreas the owner, is honest and fair. He and his mechanics do a great job and stand behind their work. I wouldnt take my BMW anywhere else.
