Not what it use to be!!! *I didnt know how to leave another review, so I just edited my original one. The visit Im writing about was on 8-26-17(my husbands birthday)* -the pictures are also from a previous "good" visit. This place use to be one of mine and my husbands favorite places to eat. Although the service has never been great, the staff was always nice and friendly and the food came out beautiful in presentation and was always delicious. In the last 2 months this place has really declined! It all started with their original ownermanager going on "vacation" or something. The decline started with little things from them not having sauces to go with certain plates to not having their housemade juices made. This past weekend was THE WORST! Started with the cook telling us that we could only order to go. He informed us that his waitress had an emergency so he was the only one there, thats why he could only do orders to go? We were hungry so we decided to stay. It took FOREVER to get our food! He allowed us to eat it there. The portions were small, the humus with chicken was cold, the kafta was not cooked properly. During our long wait he did not offer us anything, not even a free drink. When he clearly gave another couple waiting for their food free drinks. He did apologize, how ever it didnt seem very sincere and was kinda like, "Im sorry, what do you want me to do"? While we were eating we could hear him yelling at someone in the back in another language. It was pretty bad! Ive heard him yelling at staff before and I honestly think that is why he had no staff that day. The old man he was yelling at on this day Ive never seen before but looked like they could be related possibly. So needless to say we will never come back here again. Which is a shame because it was our favorite. This new owner or cook, whatever he is should have not even opened that day if he didnt have a staff! He just hurt his bussiness so much more. But like I said this restraunt has been in a steady decline since hes been in charge. Dont bother coming here, you will be disappointed.

If you want a great place to eat that is authentic and trendy at the same time, Mazamany is the place to go! Their presentation is so unique and the food is to die for! Ask for their various grilled options and some appetizers and while u are at it, try for their freshly squeezed juices! You cant go wrong and the service is top notch too! They are also reasonably priced and always look to please their customers with a very friendly vibe and atmosphere. Even their background music is soothing and fits the ambiance as well. The place is always clean and presentable! They serve this item which I have not seen anywhere else called fried Sujuk rolls. They are so yummy! As for their kabob, they are way above tender and juicy and the meat practically melts in your mouth. Try coming here whether u know what you want or if you are struggling to pick a place to eat. Because u will always be satisfied and your taste buds will be pleased and content when you finish your meal on every level!!

I dont know what changed, but the changes here are amazing. Before it was good. Now its incredible. I have been all over the middle east and this food is right up there with some of the best medditeranian food Ive ever eaten. The atmosphere has been updated and its clean and modern, not what Id expect but still nice. The portions are very large and the prices are very reasonable for all of the food you get. The ingredients are high quality and everything is infused with wonderful flavors right down to the water in the table which is infused with rosewater. If you live in the area definitely.come check it out. If you are coming from a far, its worth it. Well done to the new owner.

I stopped by tonight to buy some hummus and noticed that the restaurant was being remodeled and had a new sign. The front door was open so I decided to go in and see if they were still doing take out". The new owner, I didnt to ask his name, was so kind and said they would not be open until to- morrow but that I could still get some hummus. After he gave the hummus to me, I tried to pay him but he refused. He then gave me a container of a delicious creamy pudding/custard for me to try. The hummus exceeded my palates expectations; I will definitely return to Mazamanys!

We were in the mood for shawerma, and this place popped up on our search. We did a carryout order, although Im pretty sure well want to dine in at some point as well. The inside is newly remodeled and looks quite nice. We picked up beef kafta and chicken shawerma (both excellent), which were served with a healthy serving of rice and sides of our choosing. All of it was very good, especially the salads and the hummus. I dont think Ive ever had such a smooth flavorful spread before. This place is awesome!

The food is delicious and the presentation is exquisite. Tucked away in a quiet part of the city, this restaurant will not fail to surprise you. The decor is chic, the place is clean and huge, the menu is offbeat and the presentation is like no other Mediterranean restaurant Ive been to. This is definitely a must try. Even the water they served had a mild essence added to it. Loved the experience.

The first time I went here I got there at 8:30pm and we waited bfor 10 minutes before we were told we couldnt dine in because it was too late. The second time I went there I was seated and waited over 20 minutes before I decided to leave as our server never came back. I will never ever go back due to the sub par service.

We trusted the so called reviews... food not authentic taste, saggy salad, i ordered lamb and got some hard beef, pilaf rice instead of basmati rice? I should of known better, place was empty on a Friday lunch... I question their reviews. The service is slow.

I was a previous customer of Samars; I stopped by to eat dinner to try them out, I sat there for 10 minutes, no one came to greet or offer me water. The owners didnt even bother to come and talk to the people that were waiting to be served on.
