Ive been a customer for more than 4 years now. While I dont dry-clean all that much, theyve always come through for my basic needs. The asian ladies were always very helpful and friendly. Recently (maybe in the last year or so) I noticed a new slavic lady (Russian?) who seemed to do OK, until the other day. I came in to get my tux shirt cleaned/starched for my wedding - sure I put it off until late, but she was happy to accommodate my rush request. It was for my wedding after all. Then it all went wrong. When I picked up the shirt, I instantly noticed that the ruffles were not ironed flat, and the cloth around the buttons was badly wrinkled. She made some excuse about a poly/cotton blend shirt not holding & dismissed my concerns. I wasnt convinced, so I looked closer and noticed the entire shirt was covered in fine dark-blue lint. When I further complained, she quietly walked into the back got a lint brush, ran it over the pleats of the shirt (further wrinkling them), and then put the same blue-lint covered plastic back over the shirt! I figured Id cut my losses at this point (the wedding was the next day) and asked her once again about the wrinkles, recalling that Id had better success the last time I had starched it. She very rudely suggested that maybe I should go do it myself! For the record, I did just that and the shirt turned out exactly as I expected it (except I couldnt iron out all the wrinkles around the buttons that theyd somehow pressed into the shirt). While I managed to walk out of there without completely losing it, I dont recommend these guys if you need it done quickly and right the first time. I really just cannot believe how ludicrous this was! I told her it was for a wedding, youd think they would spend extra care on it - but obviously they cut corners instead! And when challenged on it, they were obviously not interested in keeping me as a customer.

The staff clean two pair of new shorts that had very sticky tags on them. I thought they were ruined but the folks at Palos Cleaners removed the tag marks and my short looked brand new! I loved those shorts! Great job guys! Today my wife is bringing in a red dress for a repair and alteration. You guys at Palos Cleaners are our cleaners of choice. Jerry and yolo Lomita
