While this Kiddie Academy location may initially appear to be a great place to send your child, I would give it serious pause before you commit and sign a contract. My wife and I initially enrolled our daughter in June 2017 and paid upwards of $900 in advance tuition as a nonrefundable deposit. In the end we did not allow her to attend Kiddie Academy, and had to forfeit the money we paid up front as a result. The center director refused to refund us any money. We also emailed both owners (Sonya and Joseph Haikal) who chose to simply ignore our emails rather than even providing a reply. Hardly professional behavior in my opinion. So, we did not recoup our cost, which we understand is a contractual issue, but nonetheless decided it was worth the monetary expense to ensure our daughter had quality daycare and supervision. After the enrollment, but before our daughter actually began attending, we were given access to the security camera system Kiddie Academy provides all parents. Upon reviewing daily video of the classroom we were unhappy with what we saw based on the quality of care this location provides. The office representatives, all of whom are very nice and professional, present this as an educational and interactive daycare. However, it is just an expensive babysitting service. Most of the teachers we observed did not interact with the children and choose to sit on the floor and allow the kids to freely wander about the room. One teacher we observed did not move from her seat on against the wall for over 40 minutes, all while kids wandered around without any interaction or the proactive activities promised by the brochure (we have screenshots to prove it). Other times children appeared to be off playing by themselves while teachers talked amongst themselves or were on their phones. We also observed generally unsanitary conditions in which kids were fed crackers directly off the table top by a teacher who used her bare hands to scoop the crackers out of the box. Overall its a fairly sad environment for any kid, especially when you consider how much it costs. Furthermore, on the Friday before my daughter was due to start attending we visited her room to stock it with the necessary supplies. Two children were present with extremely runny noses which had not been tended to by the only teacher on duty. Needless to say, two days later my daughter became sick with a cold, after having been at the center and interacted with those kids for 15 minutes! Its a certainty kids will get sick in daycare, but apparently Kiddie Academys policy is that they dont send kids home unless they have a high fever. I would say that your child attends Kiddie Academy Huntington Beach you can fully expect for them to be quite ill very quickly and very often. So, if you are considering Kiddie Academy Huntington Beach I would recommend you thoroughly review this location before contractually committing to enroll your child. Perhaps try to view the camera system a few days before signing any documents. If they wont allow this, I would use caution – I believe part of their business model and overall profit is to get your money before you can realize the true level of quality behind the care they provide.

I toured KIddie Academy this morning looking for infant care for my 7 month old son and all I can say is "Wow". Jamie gave me a tour of the center, answered all of my questions and listened to all of my concerns attentively. This center is brand new and top notch. It is a huge decision for any parent to trust their precious child to the care of others but all I can say is that from the moment I walked in I felt at ease and comfortable with Kiddie Academy. I have looked into other day cares and I did not feel ok with having my son in their care due to the condition of the center and the grounds. This facility is clean, secure and even has cameras where parents can check in on their little one at any given time. Also, a representative from the corporate office was there as well and informed me they will be starting up process where parents will be sent pictures of their child doing their daily fun activities through out the day as well as a daily email log of of everything my little guy has done from activities to feedings to diaper changes to sleep. How awesome and reassuring is that! I met with Joseph the owner and worked out the enrollment for my son to start there on May 5th. I am so excited for him to start.

I dont usually post reviews, but thought this facility deserved one! I took my two-year-old son here for a tour last week and was thoroughly impressed with Kiddie Academy of Huntington Beach! The facility was full of high-tech features (including cameras with great quality to watch your child straight from your smart phone), had all brand-new equipment, and the best and the largest playground I could ever imagine! The owners seemed extremely knowledgeable and mentioned that they have over 20 years of experience in the child-care industry with other established locations in Orange County! I looked at many other schools in this area, but felt this was, hands-down, the best school around! Im very picky when it comes to child care for my son, but feel 100% certain that I made the correct choice. I cannot wait for my son to start and highly recommend Kiddie Academy of Huntington Beach!

WARNING - KIDDIE ACADEMY HUNTINGTON BEACH DO NOT PUT YOUR KIDS IN THIS DAYCARE FACILITY!!! I normally do not do negative posts but felt I needed to do so to help parents that I know and in my community. This is based off of our personal experience. In the past few months they have had MULTIPLE VIOLATIONS (from staff/parent complaints) and will soon have more based on my own complaint. Our issue deals with a very serious issue of FAILURE TO ADMINSTOR MEDICATIONS to our child in infant care!! Previous violations were regarding giving the WRONG BREASTMILK to the WRONG BABY(AND they tried to keep the truth from the parents!!!) And finally capacity levels within the infant room!!! If you know anyone that has their child there or is considering doing so, it is MY STRONG OPINION TO REMOVE THEM FROM THEIR CARE!

My daughter has been going to Kiddie Academy HB since April of 2015. I absolutely love the teachers and the owners. They are helping raise my child while I am working and I never have to worry about her. She loves going to school everyday too. My daughter is also learning so much because Kiddie Academy places much emphasis on learning and development. I couldnt be happier and more relieved that I found quality daycare in a loving environment. If you are looking for excellent daycare, do yourself and your family a favor and tour the beautiful facility.

This center without a doubt is the best center around! I pre enrolled my daughters here before the opening and they as well as myself could not wait to start! Mr and Mrs Haikal (the owners) have been beyond helpful with our entire process, facilitating every single thing for us. They have one of the most awesome front office staff hands down! AND The teachers really make it fun and educational. My children love going there everyday and constantly talk highly of Ms. Makayla, their teacher :) This for us was definitely top choice!
