HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Called to cancel my membership, the receptionist told me to call the next day to speak to the operations manager between the hours of 9am-5pm.....I call the next day.....and the Operations manager told me that in order to cancel my membership I had to go in person....between the hours of 9am-5pm.....SO...I go in today and the Operations Manager who is a female was VERY RUDE to me. As soon as I told her what I was there for....she turned cold....With 0% people skills she asked me why I wanted to cancel...I told her my reason....it seemed like she didnt even care....she then asks me if I want the cancelation receipt printed or emailed....I said both please.....as soon as she printed the paper....she handed it to me and in a cold rude tone she said "here you go". I took it and left. All I have to say is the the Gym might have good equipment but the STAFF does NOT know how to treat customers. I give it NO STARS....too bad there is no option for that.

Horrible Customer Service, I went in with what was said to be a 3 day guest pass. I had the intent of becoming a member on my 3 rd day despite the fact that I waited over 20 min for a salesman, then finally gave up. Never got a walk through and when I asked a representative if the sauna was open and available he said yes....it wasnt. Staff is not aware of there surroundings or familiar with how to treat clients. I was still intending on enrolling, since Im an adult and can find my way around. I met with A.J. the manager on my 3rd day he kindly gave me a tour, apologized for his staff, then sat me down and said I couldnt workout on my 3rd day because of the fine print and Id need to become a member and pay $249 to do so. So the 3 day guest pass is a 2 day unless you pay...WTH! 24 hr fitness can have my money

While there are many improvements that would push the ratings higher, honestly it could be much worse. Key things: the cleanliness of the gym is decent. I always see janitors cleaning some area in the gym and I havent encountered anything stinky or disgusting in the gym yet. I do wish there were more places to clean the equipment in the gym, I can only find two of the towels/multi surface cleaner in the whole gym, there should be more. Most of the equipment works just fine. Although the is only ONE squat rack which is always busy. One Smith machine also always busy. People literally do everything at those machines and stay for an hour or more. The free weights are often placed back in the wrong place, which I guess is better than on the floor but how hard is it to put back where you get it from?

I went one day to cancel my Membership, the guy at the front wanted to charge me $99 dollars to cancel. He gave me a cancellation form, and told me that he was the only person that can do that. I called corporate and they said there was no fee to cancel. I showed up the next day, another guy told me that only a manager can cancel the membership, but that he was not available. I went the following day and no manager again. This Gym, never has a manager, therefore anyone who is there wants to charge you money for anything so they can pocket it. I cancel my membership for FREE, and was reimbursed my initiation fee at a different location. This place sucks!!!

I am absolutly disgusted by this place. I tried to bring my nephew from mexico to come work out with me for one they and they did not allow him to come in as my guest JUST because he wasnt a "resident" here in america. They WOULD NOT take his counsular ID card as he unfortunately left his very important! Very valuable passport at home. And this was one of the managers at this instituted who had the nerve to be ao racial about it so if youre of latino decent and you have out of state family visiting you are NOT allowes to bring them to the gym with you. Awesome! So thank you rossio MANAGER for losing my business

This gym isnt as bad as others are saying. I worked for LAF for 3 years and have seen worse gyms. I attend this gym every night and its almost perfect. Not at all crowded. The staff is super chill, which you cant say for a lot of LAF staff. The only downfall is the re-racking of weights. Not all of this is due to the staff. I see a ton of members take the weights into the machine area, the aerobics room, bathroom, etc. and they dont put the weights back which youre supposed to do. Yes, a few machines are outdated BUT they still work and get the job done. I actually like this LAF...satisfied.

The gym is alright,I just hate that they constantly call you asking if you want a personal trainer. Sometimes they even schedule for you without even asking. It feels as if your being forced to get a trainer,how does 1 call a day sound for first few months? I will be changing pretty soon. Oh and the personal trainer is free for like the first try and after that they charge so dont waste your time

Its really bad customer service today around 11:00 am I forget my membership card so I was telling him my phone number he disrespect me and said no I told him this my key number he didnt eve look at it he said its not right number but it was my mambership card number after I get my la fitness app I chick in he didnt even say sorry he so road and disrespect at all

I would say that this gym leaves ALOT to be desired. Employees never rack weights (and neither do the members) so you are always searching for everything. All customer service reps are very and quick to dismiss you. Unless you have no other choice, dont work out here. Also parking lot is super sketch!

Old school vibe, pretty small but a gym is a gym. I love that its pretty empty on the weekends. Doesnt get as packed as other LA Fitness gyms during peak hours. Equipment is great. Dont see why people complain, you have everything you need at this gym. If you want luxury pay extra and go to Equinox.

This gym has some negative reviews, but I really enjoy working out here. The gym is old-school, with lots of Icarian machines and Hammer Strength plated weight machines. The cardio equipment is mostly Matrix, which I like better than the Life Fitness cardio machines at most LA Fitness.

Terrible experience and Im not even a customer. Theyre trying to sell me a membership so they call me relentlessly while Im at work. I finally call them and the people are rude and disrespectful. One guy hung up on me today 05/14/16 before 5pm. I hope corporate reads these reviews.
