VERY DISSATISFIED and GREATLY DISAPPOINTED!!! The people that work there appear very helpful and nice. Even when they explained that they werent going to pay me for an $80 shirt that I am certain they lost or "misplaced" (Ill get to that in a bit), they did it with a pleasant tone. I dropped off three shirts on 5/17 and picked up that order on 5/24. My mistake is that I never keep track of what I drop off or pick up. I just take in dirty clothes and pick up clean ones. I have never had a problem with other cleaners and I allowed myself to become complacent. Two weeks later on 6/7, when I went in my closet to where I hung the Piccadilly Cleaners clear bag, there was only 2 shirts on 2 hangers. 1 shirt and 1 hanger was missing. I looked at the ticket which was stapled to the clear bag and it listed the 3 shirts I had dropped off. I knew it must have been left at the cleaners for a few reasons. 1) I live alone in a small one bedroom apartment. 2) I had not touched that bag since I brought it home from the cleaners just two weeks prior. 3) Until I use the last article of clothing in a grouped bag, I leave the bag in place over the remaining clothes hanging in my closet. I reach up from the bottom and just take the clothes that I am going to wear. This means that if I had used the shirt, not only would I have remembered getting dressed up or at least the place that I would have gone requiring a dry cleaned shirt, but I would have an empty hanger next to the other 2 shirts in the bag. (I dont go out much) I went in the next day and spoke to the nice lady, owner I believe, who promised me she would search all over for it and follow up with me the next day. She then asked me to describe the shirt to her. When I mentioned that it was a Ben Sherman shirt as I was struggling to describe it to her as a casual button up collar shirt, she explained that she knew exactly what I was talking about because her sons wear the same style shirts. The next thing she said struck me as weird, but I just wanted my shirt back. She said, "If I dont find it here, Ill check their closets as well when I get home. The next day, I called to see if they had located my shirt, but the worker who answered said that she wasnt going to come in to work that day. I left a message for her to call me back. She never did. I called again the next day and they said that she would be in later. I went there that day after work and they said she left already. I explained what was going on to the gentleman at the counter. He said he was actually friends with her sons and that they were English. Both big fans of Ben Shermans clothing. I sent him a picture of the same shirt from a department store to assist them with locating it, except the color was red stripes instead of blue stripes like mine. The picture also showed the price tag. I never heard back from her and I left for vacation out of state. When I returned, I had to get caught up at work. I finally went back to the cleaners today. I was hopeful, but unfortunately, they had not located my shirt and refused to reimburse me for the cost of my shirt. She offered me a $40 credit at the cleaners, but I declined. One, I am not in need of a hand out. I suppose if I was looking to get over on the system, I would have gladly taken the offer, but it was more about the principle to me. They lost my shirt or it was "misplaced/stolen" and they should have replaced it with the same shirt or paid me for its value in cash. Why would I want a store credit??? So Piccadilly Cleaners can be used as a department store with the rest of my clothes??? Credit or no credit, I would never take my clothes there again. Still very nice people...at least a very nice front.

First visit no problem, went down hill from there. Look carefully at the positive comments irs obvious they were written by the same person. In addition to being rude and disrespectfull when I confronted them about kicking a pile of shirts around ob the floor right after the previos customer left, They wont honor their discount card and over charged me twice. My bad should have been more carefull.

Couldnt be happier! I had to go to wedding and needed my suit dry cleaned for the next morning and its Friday. All places could have done it by Monday. As soon as I called, they were very friendly and helpful and took me in ASAP. Im a last minute panicking kind of guy with my busy schedule, but with their expertise Im back on track saving time. Thank you and you wonderful crew piccadilly!

My wife and I have used them for 6 year....or more. Never a problem. If we have very complicated items we sometimes bring them elsewhere, but otherwise very satisfied after many years.
