DO NOT LOOK FOR EMPLOYEES THROUGH THIS AGENCY!! EVERYTHING about this agency SUCKS!!!! Stivers Staffing and its employees dont even deserve the one star I gave them. I am an employer who has worked with 3 different staffing agencys over a 20 year period to find employees for my company and I have never dealt with an agency that is so RUDE, UNORGANIZED, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND ESPECIALLY UNKNOWLEDGEABLE AS STIVERS STAFFING. EVEN THE BRANCH MANAGER (YVONNE P.) IS A REAL LOSER. My employee and I laugh over storys about her. The last story was my employee called Yvonne because she had some questions regarding her assignment for her. Not only did Yvonne not know the answers to these simple questions but she also was not bright enough to have her phone charged and (Yvonne) kept saying her phone was going to die so she has to cut the conversation short. Obviously Yvonne was nervous and feeling stupid for not knowing the answers to the questions my employee was asking her so she had to make an excuse to get off the phone. But either way she looked like an idiot because even if her phone was really dyeing....what moron doesnt own a phone charger!!? Then on Friday Yvonne left my employee a message asking her to call because she had something important to tell her. So when my employee called, Yvonne stated that she wasnt at work and could not tell my employee the reason she called her until she got back into the office on Monday morning. What a simpleton Yvonne is!! I cant believe that Yvonne couldnt even remember the one thing she needed to tell my employee. One last issue....Yvonne kept saying that my employee works for the agency and not for me (just because they are the ones giving her the paycheck) ...............if this is so, the next time I need my employee to do something she (my employee) wouldnt listen to me and only take direction from Yvonne......So lame and ridiculous!!!!!!!! My employee works THROUGH Stivers for me (my company)!This company is full of excuses.....I even had problems with them not drug testing my employee till after she worked for me for almost ten days! When my employee brought that up to Stivers (Yvonne) she stated that was because only about 20% of the companys want this done.....so this means for 20% of the companys that do want the employee drug tested, that they are that unorganized and dont do the drug testing on a person before they send them on a job! I am paying them, so you would think they would be there for their client but they are NOT! FROM THE START STIVERS STAFFING IN IRVINE KEPT SENDING ME APPLICANTS WITH COMPLETELY WRONG AND DIFFERENT QUALIFICATIONS THAN WHAT I ASKED FOR. NINCOMPOOPS!!!!!!!!!! (to put it nicely)

Just a little background on Kelly M above regarding her review. I will not stoop to the level of this person, but I will say that when someone in my position has a candidate (generically speaking of course) that makes me and my company look SO bad to a client that they are terminated shortly after starting an assignment for unprofessional behavior, calling the office daily complaining that their check is lost in the mail when THEY listed their address incorrectly on their hire paperwork, refuses to return the clients parking transponder that my company had to reimburse them for, and directly emails the company owner to tell him how he could more effectively run his very successful business... well, I guess you take their opinion with a grain of salt. Im happy to report that my wall at work is covered with thank you notes from the candidates that appreciate having jobs, and I also have a great working relationship with my clients. As for the other review, I started working in the Irvine office after this was written and have nothing to say other than I feel that this review was extremely harsh and hypocritical with regard to calling anyone ELSE unprofessional. Name calling is not exactly what I would call professional, and based on this I would question the credibility of this review as well. This should be a forum for actual reviews, not a name calling bash fest. I would be more concerned about the negative reviews if either had been well written or contained any credible information that we would have the opportunity to address and even rectify if necessary. Please ask yourself this one question... if you were hiring, would you want either of these people working for you? Enough said.

Came here 3 times, suit, tie, and my résumé. First time was at 2pm, door is locked, knocked, no answer. The next day, I came at 3pm (thinking the day before I showed up during the lunch hour), locked, knocked, and again, no answer. Came back at 10am the following morning, finally, the door was unlocked. I guess the only one who needs to look professional is the one hoping to land a job placement. The woman who works here is extremely is in courteous, just downright rude, and looks like she just rolled out of bed. Are sweats part of the Stivers dress code? She completely acted like I shouldnt have shown up... Im so sorry Im distracting you from sleeping or that Facebook window that was on your computer screen, so you could do what your paid to do, and place someone in a job. Especially one qualified for a multitude of different jobs. She told me to come back when I have made an appointment.... No surprise, I never came back. Went to another agency where walk ins are welcome, landed a placement, did well enough that hired me on permanently after 6 months with a great salary. I make $5337.00/mo (net). So thanks Stivers. Not sure what I wouldve landed if I came back, but sure glad the rude lady turned me away. Her card said, Shelley Jones.

HORRIBLE OFFICE!!! The recruiter Shelly Jones is very disrespectful, unprofessional, and has no control over her tongue or emails. She puts Stivers on a bad reputation list! I will NEVER use this location to staff for the simple reason Shelly does not demonstrate professionalism she prefers contending to her clients which WILL ultimately cost her her clientele. GROW UP and do your job with dignity and respect for others!!!!
