This company is unethical and unprofessional, period. Here is the story, you be the judge. I sent my resume to this company, UNKNOWINGLY, because they keep there name hidden. (Check there listings on job search engines, theres nothing. They go by a different name. Should of raised a red flag, but I was in dire need of a job driving 200 miles to the next major metropolitan city every other week where the jobs are plentiful. I was contacted on a Fri morning to do a virtual interview, which was kinda neat Ill admit. After the interview (lasted 15min) I was sent between 20-30 pages for the actual application. My printer went out of ink, so I payed for the copies, no biggie when you think you might have a job... The recruiter, Isabella whom contacted me regarding the position said I MIGHT start the following Monday, but she was not absolutely certain. After 2hrs of printing and signing, I sent them immediately back. I didnt hear from this recruiter until Monday, asking me to come into work. I was excited and escatic to hear back, but I was interview on that Monday morning 200 miles away as usual due to the fact I did not get the "Ok" to begin on Monday. I raced home as fast as I could to be prepared. During the virtual interview I had expressed there were only 2 days I could not work due to Drs appts. The next thing I know, after driving 200 miles back and leaving the original interview I had to come to this new job I was excited about, I received an email stating they didnt need me anymore... I was beside myself and shocked. I called to see what exactly happened, especially after all the time I put into the 2 sets of forms needed to be printed out which was a grand total of 55 pages. (Go to your local printing shop and see how much it costs, not cheap.) When I called, I was bummed but nothing over the top. I just wanted to figure out what happened in a 24hr span. I received an extremely obtuse answer and incredibly obscure. I then hung up with the recruiter. I called back a short time after to obtain the company information. They completely refused, cursed , and hung up. I called a couple times so I could speak to a President and/or CEO, but someone by the name of "Pam" answered. She didnt identify her position. I expressed I was deeply confused and concerned about the situation, including that the company that refused to give me ANY informational, NOW has by Drivers license number and Social Security... Then this women, whom identified herself as "Pam" then threatened to call the police. At that point I did as well, along with the Better Business Bureau and the Labor Board. If you have ANY COMMON SENSE , stay away from this company and its affiliates.

I made the mistake of allowing Chiquita to talk me into staying at my assignment when I was very clear it was not going to work out within the first few weeks. She requested that I stay until they found a replacement which I thought would be "professional" of me. I also understood it from the business standpoint of it, as long as they have placement for their contracts, they get paid. This is what I get for being understanding. About 3 weeks later I contacted Chiquita asking had she found me a replacement as of yet, she mentioned no. I personally believe she was not looking hard enough. A week later, the assignment released me which was perfectly fine when I was well aware a month prior things were not ideal on either parts. I was told Chiquita would call me in reference to next steps of finding another assignment. She did not for almost 4 months. I reached out to her several times while speaking to other reps in the office such as Pam. When I finally got the chance to talk to Chiquita she insisted that I put that I had been fired on my resume before they send it to another employer. I told her I would not be doing so under the circumstances that I had made it clear that the position was not a fit for me in the beginning and per her request kept me in the position until she found a replacement. She then started to make subliminal comments about my work ethic as if it had ever been issue previously which it had not. I had just moved back to California and was looking for something temporary until I found something permanent. She was very unprofessional but I chose to leave it alone. If you can, find another agency to represent you in your job hunt.

Well first of all JM staffing stands for "Just Me" I assure you that regardless of this womans large ego it is NOT just her working there! Unfortunately, after being there a short time you can see that is how she would prefer it! She wants it done her way but will not tell you how that is.So unless you are psychic I do not know how she can expect that. More importantly this company is a great example of what is fundamentally wrong with America! Rather than forcing the government to fill positions with regular fulltime positions (which are already underpaid according to National averages) she fills them with temporary positions at even less pay and with no benefits or potential to go fulltime. Her "working days" entail her coming into the office like a raging bull and telling you how much quicker she is able to do your work while she is not even there to work through the challenges. But ultimately this Should Not be personal what she is doing is taking money out of hard working Americans pockets and getting them used to accepting less than they are worth. This money goes into her pockets and the governments and I do not see any balance where she is using her quite impressive accomplishments to make the community any better rather she has just become an egotistical monster who wants no one around but herself and then wants to get rid of anyone who she decides is not her! God help us all and God Bless employers who things the right way.

Let me just say that this agency is by far the worst agency Ive worked for very unorganized and unprofessional lack of communication and very bad with payroll and paying you properly. They want and ask for good quality employees but they dont deserve it. Like anyone who is in need of a job I put up with a little BS but this agency is BS in it self one person who I feel was very unorganized and falsely giving me information about my job assignments or my pay is Chiquita Bell I would never use this agency if my life depended on it Im so disappointed and disgusted with JM Staffing. I dont even know how they even get contracts with employers. SMH

Very unprofessional. Cant find legit information about the company online because the website is down. Once I decided not to use their services, Chiquita Bell was very unprofessional and rude. Be warned! Dont know whats up with this company but Id be cautious to deal with them. Seems like its a one man show, that they dont know how to manage their finances and the company isnt as successful as they say. Be warned everyone!

Ive done a weekend project and worked at a location for 3 months. I personally never had problems with being paid, returning emails or any rudeness. Everyone Ive ever spoken to has been kind, helpful and returned emails/calls in a timely manner. I look forward to working with this agency again.
