I never leave reviews, but this time it was warranted. Id like to start off by saying Im a former locksmith and found myself without tools and needing assistance. The pricing was a complete sham. $25 svc call and starting at $29 to open the door. Before even trying to open the door the locksmith says they had to drill and not until I told him I was a locksmith did he even attempt to open the door. He started by trying to shim the door. This is like the old grade school trick with a credit card. Then I forced him to pick the lock. After about a minute of him faking like he was trying, I asked him to move over and I picked the lock in seconds. The total trip was 10 minutes and the price went from $29 to open the door to $79? A total of $104 for 10 minutes and I picked the lock for him! Told him it was a rip off and he couldnt explain why the price went so high other than he had to make the call worth it. I called the office and the receptionist said that based on the look of the lock they decide the cost to open. Thats crap because the look of a lock doesnt decide the difficulty to open. Do not use these people. As a locksmith, I can tell you they will try to get you to drill the lock to get more money from the call. I shouldve believed another reviewer that said they do this. Steer clear if you dont want to get ripped off.

What a fantastic experience!! I work at a learning center and was looking for a better way to give access to my office to my staff . A friend of mine had recommended absolute locksmith to me and then I called them at 2 oclock I wasnt expecting to get the same day service. They had someone out to me to replace my office and bathroom locks within the hour. Ben was fast and did a fantastic job. he even took some time to teach me how to use the new system so that I could change my codes and assign Private codes to my staff. Their rates were affordable and Ben was friendly and knowledgeable. I had purchased several different kinds of locks and within a few minutes he shared the pros and cons of each type, their warranty policies and the cost efficiency of each one. I feel like if I ever have to do something like this again, I have such a better idea what I need to look for and will definitely be calling them back to install everything for me!!! So a little back story, I had to find a locksmith because it was Saturday evening and my truck wouldnt start. It was because the prior evening I was trying to set up a couple key fobs I bought from Amazon, and I NEEDED my truck working Monday morning. I called Absolute Locksmith and we set up an appointment for Sunday. Well they called me back because the locksmith was just finishing up with another customer near me. The guy who showed up was Ben. And let me tell you, he is an amazingly knowledgeable locksmith with stellar customer service!! He explained everything he was doing. He was quick. And he never tried to BS me about what it was going to cost for what needed to be done. THANK YOU Absolute Locksmith!

I will never go back here, ever. This was the worst experience with any locksmith I have ever had. They broke my, formerly-waterproof, $450 motorcycle top-box while it was in their possession. They refuse to acknowledge that they broke it. The person who called me, Ben, yelled at me like a man-child and refused to give me his last name when asked. The front desk even acknowledged that sometimes the technicians "break things and leave it for them to deal with." I will be taking further action in relation to this incident.

I was locked out of my house and called them because theyre local. I have a standard inexpensive quickset lock . . nothing exceptional, He just told me there was nothing he could do but drill through the lock to get in . . What? . . thats not a locksmith. He charged me $104 to ruin my lock, and wanted $220 to put in a new one. I hope everyone reads this. Because any locksmith can get into an inexpensive lock. This guy is either lacking any skill, or is just taking advantage of people. Stay away from this company.

We lost our business front door key, I looked for local company and found Absolute locksmith, I called them up and could not believe 20 min after my call tech showed up, He explained what he is going to do even upgraded my front lock to key less lock,(so next time if i loose the key i can just change code),and the price was more then fair, Thank you for your Absolutely good service !!!

I called them to change my locks at my house, Eric came in less then an hour , he explained everything to me and gave me few options , he even introduce me to a high security lock that I fell in love with , from now on they will take care of my rental properties in Dana point and Laguna Miguel, super professional, thank you absolute locksmith for a great service!!!!!

Thank you Ben for the great service !!, I lost my car key today Acura 07 any place i called was unable to make this key,Finally i found those guys with the help of my insurance company they came in less then 1 hour on Sunday made me 2 keys and were very affordable, The tech explain the all procedure and was very polite during the all time, Thanks for great service,

Did not get a chance to use their services but I just called to get a price quote and they lady rudely said " Youre going to need to hold on.... I have other callers...." I understand if youre busy and maybe have 100 other people on hold but a please and thank you might work. So I told her she has bad manners and hung up.

I called around 8:45pm for a lock issue in our house. A nice gentleman came out within 25 mins and had our door open within 5 mins. Great Customer service. Prices seem fair. Would definitely recommend.

I have had several keys made at Absolute Locksmith. Fair prices, quick, courteous service, and on top of that it has a drive through window to get keys made! How awesome is that? I highly recommend!
