I was a customer for close to 20 years. That ended today. They have instituted a policy of not accepting pet owners as customers. If you have a visible pet hair on a garment they will not clean it. The employee who informed me of this policy handled it in the worst possible way. She even went so far as to engage another customer in the conversation and that customer (apparently an animal hater) cursed at me and threatened me. This customer was a grown woman behaving like she was in a club and wanted to fight someone. Over pet hairs. Again, a long time customer and this is how I was treated. Go to yelp reviews, there are others that refer to this same employee. She seems to have very poor customer service skills. Be warned, they just started this policy. I encourage others to post. Apparently there are some people complaining that there is dander coming from other customers onto to their "pet free" garments. If that is true that seems like it would be the fault of the facility. Frankly, we all know that there are many people who are offended by animals. This seems to be the customers that this establishment wants. They are welcome to them. I was spoken to in the most rude possible way. Told my business was no good there and a foul mouthed woman cursed me and threatened me. They are probably doing me a favor, because I dont want to be around those types of people. They will lose 50% of their business with this policy as it is impossible to insure that there is not one single stray pet hair on a piece of clothing and most of their customers have pets. I ended up taking my garments to Los Altos down the street and no problem. They also offer a cash discount.

Been using Continental for years. I have never been treated any way other than with respect and professionalism. My clothing has always been returned in good condition and if a stain has been missed they have redone the item. I have seen many rude customers but I have never seen the employees be rude back. They try to help the rude customers and make them happy but sometimes there is no pleasing some people.

Never had an issue here and the prices are excellent. They have a laundry service and tailoring. They are open til 7pm on Saturday and one of the very few places to be open on Sunday!

Service is good, price is right. Fast and eat pickups and drops offs. Parking can be dicey during the week
