The last year of my life has been one hell of a bad hair trip. My stylist of almost 9 years decided to move to another country and hand off his entire clientele to his assistant. I thought I was going to be in well trained hands with the assistant but I was wrong. Needless to say I have been searching for the one stylist who I felt comfortable with and who would understand my wants and needs when it came to my hair. Thank goodness for the internet... after reading the reviews of several different hair salons and stylists I realized that one name seemed to repeatedly pop up to my attention. That stylsit is Angie at Shampu in Long Beach. Shampu is located inthe East Artist Village in Downtown Long Beach. The setting is one on one and and all the attention is focused on the client. Having been to several slaons and stylists in the last year, I was hoping this would indeed be the answer to my long search. I am happy to say that my search has ended and I have finally found the stylist that really actually cares about her work and her industry. I will be referring Angie at Shampu to all my friends and family and to anyone else who may be searching aimlessly as I once was. Thanks Angie for making me feel pretty again. I love my highlights, my cut, everything about my new look.

Eric is an Artist at Hair styling! He is a perfectionist and very nice down to earth person. I love what he did with my hair. Being from NY Im used to stylist that know how to cut , style and color, and I havent found too many people who know how to work it like he does in Cali. I highly recommend him.
