So my boyfriend usually goes in here, while I go to a different salon. But we have a huge trip to Seattle coming up and wanted our hairs to be done all pretty! My salon had no openings for me and so I made an appointment quickly and easily at The Den along with my boyfriend. I had Natasha and she was SO great! I loved her personality, and how much she loves her dogs (and Bowie!) She gave me a great transformative haircut and really listened to my concerns (I wanted something bold but feminine with NO maintenance) and took my concerns and made the most spectacular haircut out of it!! My boyfriend gets his hair cut by Jessie and loves her. Hes never found anyone he feels comfortable with cutting his hair, and now shes moving! So hes looking forward to getting his haircut by Natasha in the future now too. The person at the front of the office was also super cool. My boyfriend and I are totally dummys and misplaced our parking ticket and they spent so much time with us trying to find the card and calling whoever they could to come help. This was by farrr the best experience Ive ever had here at a hair salon in Long Beach, and as long as Im here for, I will always go to Natasha and The Den. Thank you so much!!

Andy used to cut my hair in Los Angeles and now I travel to Long Beach so that I can still have him cut it! He is an incredible stylist that has an eye for all hair. He understands how it grows and can even manage my strange cowlicks. Ive seen him consult with his other clients - men, women & children and they always come away from their cuts smiling. The Den is so customer service oriented its beyond belief. They always go the extra mile, right down to having a cold drink and a bowl of nuts when I show up unannounced. If youre in the neighborhood or just looking for a wonderful experience with having your hair done, the Den is a must do!

This is seriously the best salon Ive ever been to. Ive had cuts, colors, and styles from everyone there and all the stylists have done amazing jobs. They do fantastic work with my boyfriends hair as well. Everyone is friendly and they have great senses of humor. I bring my out of town visitors here and tell everyone I know to go here.

Fantastic salon. Loved the music and decor as much as the cut. Jenelle is meticulous, thorough and charming, and provided an enjoyable experience along with a first rate cut. Cleaned up my goatee, too. Also, beer. Seriously, they have beer. Ill be going to an after work appointment next time around to enjoy it.

Great place for an excellent hair cut, good conversation and a beverage. Andy and staff have given my wife and I some of our best haircuts along with additional services such as neck shaves and color treatments. They go the extra mile at The Den and will undoubtedly exceed your expectations.

Great experience. I was worried to go somewhere new. My hair is very course and thick, and I tend to go with very short pixie/ fade cuts. Dennis was great, very friendly, and did an amazing job. I recommend him! Ill definitely go back in the future.

Mari cut my guys hair and trimmed his beard. She did a great job. They offered free coffee and water for us both. Judy the salon manager is super nice. Bring your man here if you like watching him be pampered.

Expensive but worth every penny. The staff here are excellent and theyll happily provide a glass of beer or wine while you wait. Have never gotten a bad cut from here.
