I have been attending this studio for several years. Have tried others in the area but this one is the best. You can tell every teacher here is experienced and truly cares about the students. The owner, Gabriel, teaches classes too and theyre always super fun. What I appreciate most is the wide variety of teachers, from those who are more "spiritual/oo-ey" and light candles to those who are more body-mechanics/therapeutic oriented to those who are more exercise-focused. In addition, the teachers constantly mix up their classes--you can go to the same teacher regularly and their class will never be exactly the same. The teachers are good at noticing students postures and making adjustments, as well as explaining postures in detail so you dont injure yourself. (In comparison, Ive been to some other studios where the teachers are just focused on themselves.) They have lower-cost "Community" classes here so you can try it out before commititng. They also have a few classes beyond just yoga, such as Pilates Mat and meditation, and regularly add new classes to mix things up. The studio is peaceful and relaxing. It does sometimes get noisy due to traffic and planes overhead, but I look at this as an opportunity to practice inner focus. If you are new to the studio, be aware its a bit hard to find. Go to the left of the "Fish Tale" restaurant and look down the hallway to the little door. They usually have a sign out, but the first time I visited, it literally took me about 20 minutes to find the front door. But it was worth the hunt!

Have been going to classes at this studio since before it was even in this location...used to love the Marketplace location, but I understand that the rent is high there. I love the instructors here, particularly Allison, and Kara is just great. I notice I am in direct opposition to another reviewer on here who stated that they tend to over air-condition, but I actually dont go to too many classes here anymore because the room is almost always hot and stuffy, and some of the instructors are oblivious to it. I so wish there was a happy medium in this studio. If the windows are left open, its noisy and if there is not a wind, the air really does not circulate that much, especially to the back of the room. I used to love going to classes during my lunch hour, but I really have no desire to get completely hot and sweaty and then go back to work, but I realize that is probably not the case for most people. I wish they at least had some fans to keep the air moving. Ill still come to classes here because the instructors are so good, but Ill just keep being very picky on which ones.

I have taken yoga in may different places around the country. There is really only one important thing to consider. The instructors. Yoga World has great instructors. I have seen many posts about the spaces, the atmosphere, the blankets, the cost, the groupons, etc. NONE OF THAT MATTERS. If you prefer your own gear, bring your own gear. Get There early if you want to get a good spot on the floor. The teachers are great and AGAIN - THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS. Yes it is a small studio. That is a GOOD thing. Do you really ant to be in a class with 75 people where the teacher may not even notice what the students are doing? This is the real deal.

I have now been to 3 yoga classes. Although I enjoyed the one yoga class, the other 2 taught by Alison were even better. This is a basic class and I was able to do most of the moves. Alison encourages us to do what we can but does not make us feel badly if there are moves we cannot do. In fact she suggests adaptations if we are struggling. I have sciatica pain, and I think this class will help with this condition. What I am able to do gives me satisfaction and what I am not able to do gives me a goal to work towards. I really like Alisons voice. It is very soothing. I also like what she shares throughout the class.

I tried this studio because its really close to my new home. All of the instructors have been great, with a wide range of classes for all abilities. Unfortunately it is customary here to over-aircondition at pretty much every class. It is very uncomfortable to have to wear heavier clothing for my yoga class than I normally would wear going about my summer day. Such a temperature change from the inside to outside is stressful on the body. For that reason I will not be renewing my monthly pass. This studio would be great if they would open the windows to let in some fresh air, instead of turning up the air conditioning.

I have been coming to Yoga World for over a year (I started with a groupon) and have found so many different classes that I enjoy. If I want a challenge I go to one of Romonas intermediate flow classes. With Gabriel I always learn something new and challenging. Its nice to slow down and reflect on the week with Bridget on Friday. While I cant often make it to Allens prana flow when I do I am rewarded on a completely different level. These are the classes that have been able to work along with my full-time work schedule. I hate to leave out all the other instructors and classes as I am sure they must be just as great.

I loved Yoga World Studio and would highly recommend anyone to try it! They are very friendly and helpful. I went as a beginner, not knowing much, but they helped make it a memorable experience. The instructors are all very friendly and take into consideration that everyone is at different levels and that we all have different goals in mind. They definitely help us reach them! The location is nice, clean, and I can gladly say, it is very easy to fall into deep relaxation and meditation. It is everything I would look for in a yoga studio

Yoga World is by far my favorite yoga studio, I have been going there for two years and my family has been attending classes there for over five years. The teachers are calm, helpful, nice and insightful. The process is easy, the studio is quaint, clean and the environment is overall very positive! The way yoga should be! My favorite aspect is that the classes usually tend to be smaller and more personal, leading to a more specialized experience. I leave feeling relaxed and very stretched out, would definitely recommend.

This was the first time I had every taken a yoga and I picked the perfect place!! From the moment you enter the building a calm comes over you. Then you see a very welcoming smile by whom every is at the desk followed by a warn how may we serve you today still hearing the smile. All general info is gone over with you and if you know nothing like classes are recommended. Ill be returning soon, this yoga class has been more helpful than my physical therapy. So very relaxing and the calm you feel lasts and lasts!!!!!!!!!

Yoga World has been a special place to receive great instruction in breathing and movement. The instructors are the best--they make sure you are doing movements correctly and offer alternative movements depending on your abilities. The studio offers different levels as well as gentle and therapeutic classes. Ive also had health issues which have prevented me from attending classes and they happily adjusted my membership fee to reflect my absents. This is a wonderful, friendly place to practice.
