As an African American male, my hair is of a certain type and I need it cut a certain way. A poor haircut really ruins my week so for me, finding and validating this shop is a big deal. Jorge does a great job, although I think he might be the only barber there experienced with Afro hair. He genuinely enjoys cutting hair and is always down to have a good conversation. Hes not the best barber Ive had but hes definitely in the top 3 Ive had so far in LA. Side note: Average NYC (where I grew up) barbers are far superior to average barbers in LA. Dominicans = best hair cuts. Back to Jorge. Best thing about this guy is he studies his craft and gets better each time I return to the shop. Im sure that in a year, hell be a beast. Im originally from Anaheim. Was in the neighborhood. This shop is good highly recommended. Definitely coming back here. Good costumer service
