I cannot say enough good things about Cedar Hill. I live in a difference state than my Dad when he died. I took care of everything over the phone, e-mail and faxes. I first chose them because they were the most affordable funeral home we could find. We chose not to have him embalmed because frankly we could not afford it. It was good for us to remember what he looked like when he was alive. We chose a graveside service at a military cemetery. We had major problems with part of the family (I wont go into details) and Cedar Hill had to really go the extra mile. The other side put Cedar Hill through the ringer and they handled it all. We were blessed to have the owner be at the Cemetery to help keep us safe. From the first call I felt very respected and knew my Dad was taken care of. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Thank you so much Cedar HIll. It has been 4 years since my Dad was buried and all my sisters and I are still talking about how good Cedar Hill was and how blessed we were to find them.

My father requested that we get him cremated in the least expensive way possible with no frills when he passed away. Unfortunately, that time came earlier this year, and I was lucky enough to find Cedar Hills Mortuary online when looking for a direct cremation provider. I called them, they e-mailed me a bunch of paperwork to fill out, and I sent it back later that day. About a week and a half later we were able to pick up my fathers cremains and they now reside on a bookshelf where he would have wanted to be. It was simple, inexpensive, and they did a great job in making it happen. If you want a no frills direct cremation, its hard to beat them.

My family and I are grateful and would highly recommend Cedar Hill to other who are in need of these services. In addition to being professional and courteous, they are inexpensive. Other than the death of my husband, which was unexpected and shocking, nothing could be worse than to have to deal with this place. Ana spent days running me around as to where my husbands body was, whether or not the death certificate had been signed and then told me to "change my tone" on the phone. Go anyway - but dont go here.

Absolutely no sympathy, no compassion during a very difficult time. Ana made me feel like I was bothering her and even commented that I needed to rush over to pick up my fathers remains because she was going to lunch. These people are disgraceful, take your business elsewhere.
