If I could give 0 stars I would. Nothing but constant problems with this post office and the mail carriers delivering our mail. Hiring drunks and tweekers at a government business is never a good idea but we have had both delivering our mail. When we applied for a PO box the change of address form was "lost" and we had to go in and found out someone had put it on a table and forgot about it. We paid for a PO Box for one year and when we moved they locked us out of it so we could not even use it. Our mail was stolen from our mailbox which may have been our degenerate neighbors or the mail carrier who "delivered" it. We will never know because she quit. Anyways, if you can go to a different post office do it, even the one in Clearlake is better and thats saying something. 1 positive is the lady with the glasses and gray hair who works the counter is nice and the only redeeming quality in that whole building.

If I could give negative stars I would. Apparently one of the qualifications for a mail person is to be as rude and unhelpful as possible. That is what I have experienced at every post office and the one in Lower Lake is no different, if not worse. The women that work there are the reason I dread going in to the post office.
