This was one of my biggest regrets at one point. In 2004, I had recently had a some major life changes, and had moved to the area, and was desperately in need of a job. So, I went through all of their paperwork, etc. and was called later that day and told I would be starting a long term job on the following Monday, starting at 8:00 AM. I was excited about the opportunity, and was looking forward to starting over in the area. Later that day, I got an interview for a company in Laguna Beach. The interview was scheduled for Saturday morning, and I was going to head to the beach anyway, so I figured this would be perfect. I suited up, went to the interview, and lucky for me, they offered me the job on the spot. I told them that I had just accepted a position, and that position started Monday at 8:00, and asked if I could let the other company know that I wouldnt be starting there first, before starting this other position. The owner was reluctant, but said I would need to be there by 9:00 AM. I tried getting in touch with AppleOne, because I wanted to do the right thing, and didnt want to just abandon the first job that I was offered. I left messages for them to call me, and I never heard back. So, Monday morning I showed up at the job and the doors were closed. I called Appleone, and found out that the hours started at 9:00 AM, and that it was just a "typo" when they told me 8. I told them about the other job, and said I wanted to make it right, and they said the only way I could do that was to stay there until 9, and let the other company know. So, I called the job in Laguna, and told them I would be coming in at 9:30, after I had a chance to cut ties with the first company that offered me a job. When they finally opened, I explained the situation, and the woman was very understanding, and said I was always welcome to come back if something didnt work out. During the conversation, I also found out that the salary that I was quoted by the temp agency was a salary that I would earn AFTER 6 months, something they failed to tell me. So, I was glad I took that other position... After all this, I went to my job in Laguna, and the owner said that he felt I was too unreliable since I did not get their at 9:00 as he originally stated at the interview. I tried explaining, but he wouldnt budge. I went back to AppleOne, told them what happened, and said despite the lower salary, I would start that other job, and they said they were not going to send me there; despite all I had been through in order to preserve my reputation with them. I then stated that the manager had given me her card and said I was welcome to come back, and they said I was not permitted to work for that company because they were the ones that sent me there. Anyway, despite being long ago, it was a terrible experience that complicated my life at the time. Based on some of the other reviews, I am not alone in this; other than the extremely lengthy review.

Do not waste your time. The incompetence here is at an all time high. Spent two hours interviewing, filling out forms, and speaking with agent. One week later the agent was no longer an employee and was told I would be contacted. I tried to contact them and got the same response, It has been three months now. My guess is thier employees are leaving and taking the good jobs that come through. Overall it was a really dissappointing waste of time. the jobs they had were very limited and low paying. trying to explain your value to an entry level employee is really hard, the entire process was proof of this.

WASTE OF TIME - I put in applications with THREE DIFFERENT LOCATIONS and have never been contacted with work opportunities. At each location, I filled out forms, discussed my skills, discussed what I was looking for and explained that, despite my being "over qualified" I am willing to work my way up in a company. Ive never heard from them. If you ask me, its a rotten apple... dont bother.

Disappointed that I share a similar experience. Submitted my information a couple of times through multiple offices and regardless of the position, not even an acknowledgement. Submitted the incredibly lengthy online application and followed up by phone with a less than helpful representative. I had high hopes for this place.

I recently went to AppleOne and spoke with Daisy. She was extremely helpful and was very caring to my needs and questions. I got an interview the next day! Definitely worth the experience to go.

Called in and they asked me to email and they will have one if their recruiters call back. Worst customer experience ever!
