This place has many low class people. The teachers are teaching dance (to make money) during the party hours on the dance floor, which is extremely disturbing many others. We have to avoid them so we don’t get hit, as we got hit many times by them. The owners do not care as long as they can make money. We have told the owner Ma many times in writing, unfortunately, the issues have never been improved. The teachers are still teaching without caring the people around. Moreover, people are either standing in the middle of the dance floor or walking around without caring of others. This is a poorest dance studio in the Los Angeles County. We have called to consult the police department, they said this is the civil case and we can sue the owner directly without going through the police when accidents happen.

I studied and taught at Star for years in three different locations and found the owner and her family to be the best of host.. I especially liked the Monterey park location, which left me with some very fond memorys... Ive since retired to Florida in 1998 where I continued to study and finished all of my degrees in Ballroom, and Argentine tango. Im still dancing, teaching, and competing at the age of 70, and I could not have accomplished so much without the help of such great studios like Star, Slone & Slone , and Westmor ... Ive also won many first place Pro/Am competitions in the last 6 years ! Thank you for being there when I needed you Ivy, Joanna, and David. Lots of hugs, DVIDA Grand Master Hubert Schouten AKA "Dutch"

The first time I step into this place is on their open house event. My friend gave me a free class ticket and strongly recommended me to try their class. When I got there I couldnt believe there were so many people in the class. I asked if they come because of the free ticket, but what surprised me was they told me they come to learn dance regularly. OMG! If you ask me whether their classes are good. I tell you I havent miss any thursdays rumba class since the first time I came here and sometimes I try their ChaCha and waltz. I pretty enjoy this and rate them as a FIVE STAR DANCE STUDIO. BTW, dont forget to subscribe to their mailing list. They email you free tickets and coupons often.

I took dance class at many different studios before, and I wished Id went to this one earlier. The teachers are very professional and experienced. There are many students in the class, so I always have a partner to practice with. They got up to 6 different classes each day to choose from, so there is always a class availiable to fit in my busy schedual. The only bad thing is that I live about 45min drive away, and during traffic hr took me about 1 1/2 hr to get there, but I have so much fun there, and I think its worth the drive. I also know many other stdents live further out then I do. I got all my friends going here, you should really try this out too.

I have been taking the classes for more than 5 years. I found my partner at this studio and we enjoy our classes every night. The teachers are very professional. At my age, I enjoy myself and it is great exercise for me. We enjoy the teaching, dancing and music. I live nearby the studio and it is very convenient. I will tell my friends about it.
