I would never put name on this... if that tells you anything about how scary this studio is. To put it frankly, they are beyond mean and rude unless you are paying them to be nice to you. We attended for only a month and that was one month too long for my 5 children. They heard foul language, were exposed to girls sticking their butts out in dances, and one of my girls was yelled at in class for eating before attending. Their instructors are basically on a tier level - some are great and some are bad. If you dont compete, you get a teacher that has very little experience and just not that good. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THIS STUDIO... IT IS UNHEALTHY... there are 10 other studios within 10 minutes of this place. We found another studio literally up the street and have been there for over a year. My children can hardly wait to go there and their teachers are all great and loving, with very little pressure.

This place left a bad taste in my mouth after 3+ years of paying for classes for my children. If you want your child to advance, you must add more classes, and even then, the pace of instruction is so slow, its as if they want to keep the students from advancing. If you want your child to be considered for the “competition” team, it requires multiple years/classes of ballet, tap and jazz, so even if your child excels in one discipline, you are forced to pay for classes in all disciplines, or not be considered. If your child is not on the team, she will be treated like a second-class citizen both at the studio, and especially at the annual recital. The kids feel it, believe me. Lastly, the staff is reasonably nice, especially Linda and Laurie. The owner, Leslie Clifford, really is unapproachable. For your childs overall benefit, think twice before you invest in this studio

I have first hand experienced center stage dance academy on many levels. i have been a part of the studio for around 11 years now and i have loved every minute of it. It is a place to learn, grow, and have fun. Yes, sometimes children do receive criticism, and criticism ONLY, never do any teachers intend to be negative. I know for a fact that center Stage strives to create a place for children/teens to share a passion and allow it to grow. MAYBE some people do not like the teacher they receive, but what is so great about the studio is that there are so many classes and levels that it is easy to switch teachers! I personally recommend center stage to any child or teen that is looking to have fun dancing or become serious about it!

This has been a great place for my daughter to continue her ballet classes. Ms Andrea is great. Office staff are very helpful. Lesli is very nice and always available for questions. Recital/picture days were a breeze. Everything is very organized. The greatest part is that they encourage that the students take the initative in speaking up and are in control of what they want to accomplish. They encourage for the student to take the lead vs always the parents in asking the question. Great skills to be coached to our children. Thank you for everything. Sandra, Iris

LOVE THIS PLACE! I have 3 girls and they all dance here. Been dancing here for about 8 years now. We love the teachers and staff here. I would definitely recommend checking out CSDA if you are looking for a studio for your child. They can casually take classes or if your child is more serious about dance they can also be on a competitive dance team without you having to be an "Abby Lee DANCE MOM" Its like a family here.

We have been part of the CSDA family for 12 years. Our daughter loves dancing there and considers it a second home. Shes had some great instruction and we appreciate Leslie and all the other instructors who have spent time helping her to achieve her goals.

I have to agree with these negative reviews. The antiquated registration is frustrating, favoritism is a huge problem and negativism is rampant. Too bad. This place has potential but has never changed its ways.
