I danced at Encore for 13 years. Initially I loved dancing for Bonnie & her business partner at the time. I remember those years being magical. I loved the teachers, students and the yearly recitals/shows that we performed. This was my life and I dedicated all my time at this studio along with other students; as did my parents. I can honestly say 5 out of 8 students were burned by the owner as was her business partner. She is all fun and games with you for your money, dedication to help at the studio and any temporary friendship she forms with the parents. The last 8 years I danced there Bonnie hired top notch professional choreographers from several LA studios. My dance training became very focused and precise but the rath of Bonnies many moods began to surface more and more. Many families I knew ended up walking away from the studio disgusted that the owner would take parents and their children for granted and treat people this way! People dedicated all their time and money to Bonnie so that she could put you in the spotlight to represent her studio and then just dump you like you were nothing to her. Give it about 2 years plus of dedication to the studio and she will eventually find a reason to have an attitude with you and give you a reason to want out of her studio. I have no idea why she does things that way. I have ran into many of the girls I danced with over the years and come to find out, we all have the same horrifying stories and unanswered questions about the way we were treated. Her younger daughter also was one of the teachers and orgainizers of the performances and she would constantly yell at the students during rehearsals. I hope someone considers this and gets the BIG PICTURE! If I exposed details of what a handful of us went through I would be surprised if she was still in bussiness! Even some of my closest teachers there have been shunned by her. Its ridiculous and heartless. If you want to keep your money in her bank then Im sure you will be her bestfriend. I just wanted to give a heads up. Dance was my passion and It was heartbreaking to be dismissed for cause I wasnt full of money and wouldnt stroke Bonnies narcissistic attitude and nither would my parents. In the end I felt betrayed and hurt and I felt I lost everything when I left. Of course, to Bonnie, everyone is dispensable!

Attitude, its all about attitude! I believe my opinion is valid when speaking about Encore and the owner. We have been part of the studio for 18 years. I have two daughters that have been trained (and continue training) at Encore along with a son who participated for a few years. We have seen people come and people go. My girls both work professionally and receive nothing but praise about their talent. Its interesting to attend many many auditions and see first hand those that say they are "dancer" and then witness the poor training theyve received. I dont agree with the negative comment written May 2010 about the owner. If this particular person is looking for perfection in the owner, the studio, and people in general, then she needs to stay home. It is unfortunate that bitterness set in. My daughters both work professionally in film, music videos, and musical theater productions. I am humbled by the fact that many ask where theyve been trained and we proudly refer them to Encore. After so many years of being at Encore, I can honestly say I do not agree with the poor rating on the owner. Like in any relationship, its what you put into it; its a give and take. Perhaps there needs to be some introspection as to what caused such breakdown in the relationship with the owner, and what she and her parents contributed to the fall out. A word to the wise: If you want to participate/work in a perfect studio, and/or organization, dont go there, because once you attend, it will no longer be perfect! Let him without fault, cast the first stone!

To the reviewer to had a bad experience, this people is the Truth..Encore is the place to be sucked into the Bonnie world, she is backstabbing and will turn on you in a minute. I watched her talk about her Bff and that sucks because she wont have a show if not for her support. Students here will never be a professional dancer unless God gave them talent. Her shows have no technique and her prices are ridiculous considering students are teaching not professionals. Bonnie exagerates everything and makes you think encore is the best Dont waste your time and money on cheesy recital or classes check around there are alot of great technical studios and this is not one.dont let her inner circle of friends reviews sway you. She doesnt care about you or your kid in the end. I know one person bonnie told many lies about to get attention from her circle to make her look like the goos guy. She is pittiful.

Ooh! I dont know who gave this horrible review BUT dont believe it!! Sometimes people cant let things go...I danced at Encore from a small child til I went off to college and probably danced with the person below. But after growing up in the studio myself, now my 5 yr old daughter takes at Bonnies new space in San Dimas. Encore got a face lift, but same great energy and family atmosphere. The new building is so big and beautiful and of course the staff is still off the hook! Check it out for yourself and please dont believe that sad attempt at revenge...Bonnie is the nicest, most caring person and loves all her students! It comes thru in everything she does, the performances, her staff...its all for the kids. Her joy of teaching and owning a studio is cleary visible from the care and love she puts into it. I cant say enough!! 5 stars!!!!!

We had a terrible experience here. They are always packed, with no parking and very rude people trying to bustle in and out like cattle. We paid our fee and they told us it was too late to get a costume or for my daughter to be in the show at the END of the year (mind you this was in april with 3 months to learn the dance, and shes NOT a beginner)! They took our money though. The teacher was always late & unprofessional, no where for parents to watch since the back room with tvs is being used by clicks to gossip since theyve taken their kids there for years you know. Very hot inside facility also. When we called to ask if my daughter could have a different class or teacher the girl answering the phone put us on hold & never came back. Never going to waste my time there again, you shouldnt either.

Encore was a second home to me growing up. I started dancing there when I was five years old. Now over twenty years later I am back working there as an instructor and am once again proud to call it a second home! I have a young daughter and as soon as she is old enough she will be dancing there as well! Without the training I received at Encore and the confidence they instilled in me, I know my life would have turned out very differently. I can highly recommend this studio for all ages, all levels, and all students!
