I wanted to take my son to get his first hair cut, and I thought I could use a trim as well. I had long layers, and my hair was long enough to easily put in a pony tail. She ended up cutting lots of short layers, cutting the hair above my ears short, and putting bangs in front. She also just cut a HUGE chunk out of one side. Looking at another review, this seems to be a common problem. I told the woman that it looked really bad, but she said it would look nice. I ended up telling them I wouldnt pay for it (Ive never not paid for a hair cut before), and they wouldnt let me leave the store. Two of them held onto my two year olds stroller and blocked me from exiting. I ended up having to take my son out of his stroller and leaving it behind, so I could leave the store while a person who came by distracted them. They tried to grab my purse, they told me I was dirty, and they were just yelling insults at me. They got in my face to take pictures, and I ended up having to call the police. Its pretty sad. Last time my hair was this short, it took a year to grow to shoulder length. I was really happy to finally have "long" hair again, and then she did this. The only way to fix the missing chunk is to cut it all off. It is an Asian run store, so they may not know how to cut curly hair. They should have just said they dont know how to do it, and I could have gone somewhere else. Either way, their reaction (especially with my baby present) was uncalled for.

Terrible service! I asked if they do deep conditioning. One of the women said yes for $25. I asked if they do a blowout afterwards. She said yes. After the deep conditioning she asked if I wanted flat iron. I said no. She then said Ill blow dry your hair just enough. I asked her what does a "blow dry just enough" mean? Ive never heard of that. Is she going to blow it out like she said? She said yes. She blew the drier on my hair for a couple of minutes barely brushing it and she was done. What?! WTF?! My hair is curly. A 2-minute blow dry with minimal brushing means frizzy crazy hair! What a rip off. I would have been fine with just leaving my hair as is (wet) after the deep conditioning. I told her my hair looked terrible and that she did not give me a blow out as promised.She then lied and said that she told me in the beginning. Note: while I was getting the deep conditioner put in my hair I asked her what is the brand she uses for the deep conditioner. She said it is a Japanese brand. And she said nothing more. I then asked what is the name of the brand. She said it is in Japanese characters so she doesnt know. So I continue to ask for more details about it and she said she doesnt know So I dont even know what was put in my hair.

Went in for a haircut yesterday. The stylist did not take time to understand what I meant. I wanted a trim and she chopped off all my hair. She kept pushing me to highlight my hair, try a pedicure/manicure, wax, etc. none of which I wanted. Quite annoying! Took over 50 minutes for the haircut. First she cut the hair while wet, then blowdried and I actually started liking it but then came round 2 of the chopping which has left me with this mess. Also the other stylist or whatever and she were talking continuously in their native tongue quite loudly all the while. Even though she shampooed and conditioned my hair I dont think she got all the product out. Gross! Also I requested not to use the flat iron as she did not even bother with a heat protectant. Needless to say Im never going back even though my husband loves the comic shop in the same complex and we go there every week.

I started crying after she gave me the mirror and asked me "what do I think?" This lady glued the lashes to my eye lids! Anyone who has ever had eyelash extensions would know they do not attach the lash to your eyelids - they attach them to the eyelash. She told me it wasnt her fault - okay well then whose fault was it? She also told me to stop crying or I will scare the customers. I am extremely upset and I am filing a law suit against this establishment. Later I found out they do not have license to perform eyelash extensions and I urge everyone to please do research before getting this service done.

FYI: This place is now called Royal Beauty Salon. I DO NOT recommend it. The stylist was very pushy and rude, didnt listen to me at all, and got all huffy when I asked her to put some gel in my hair (My wife and I were going shopping so I didnt have time to run home, shower, and gel up my hair). She didnt even ask me how I liked the cut. I gave this place two tries: this was my second. I got an okay haircut the first time, but the stylist that helped me said she hated working there because the owners were very rude to their employees. Bottom line... I will NOT be going back.

Totally uneven, layers not blended. My usual stylist was horrified. Since the change in ownership, they have really gone down hill! Not recommended.
