I have been a member of this gym for about 6 years, and a member of at least 8 gyms in the past 20 years. This is a completely average gym with exceedingly high dues. Every year the dues keep going up. The last go around I paid $650 for the year. That’s tough to pay with friends paying half that with fixed dues in other areas of California and at nicer clubs. There is even a charge on my bill for amenities (soap, toilet paper, towel service which never started, etc.), which you would think would be part of the membership. My other issue is with the equipment. When they bring in new equipment it is not really new. They buy used equipment that is out of date. For example they recently purchased an incline press. When they put it on the floor it was still dusty from storage. It appears to be something that was made years ago. Since they put it on the floor several months ago I have seen one person use it one time. I wish they would spend some of the large amounts of money that the members pay for dues and put it towards quality equipment. On the plus side, they do have a full basketball court, they have a decent selection of Hammer machines, and the staff is friendly.

Its the only real "club" in Novato instead of just a Gym. They have over 15 nice tennis courts, racket ball, full free weight and machine gym, tons of cardio machines, and best of all, a $25,000 Pilates gym with round the clock public and private classes. If you dont do Pilates, you have no idea how incredibly it is as it sculpts your body while giving you cardio work like running or biking. After a few months, if you were not a fat ass, you start looking like a gymnast. Finally, because its a club, they have several awesome spaces you can have business and private events with profession AV equipment for presentations or fun. Novato is kind of in the sticks but this place is by far the best club for the money. Forget 24 hour fitness etc. This is again by far the best GYM in northern Marin. Just wish it was not so expensive at $200 a month. I was told they could discount our monthly fees but so far, nobody has budged.

Childs class used this place for their end-of-the-year party and it was great. Nice open pools areas, attentive lifeguards, and large eating area. I would def go back as a rental, but prices sound high for membership and there does not appear to be a day/guest pass.

This place rocks its clean and has a relaxing atmosphere for a gym. I normally get all my workouts done early in the morning when not very many people are there. Weekends can be a tad crowded but you can still work around the crowd.

We love Rolling Hills! We have found a wonderful tennis community at Rolling Hills. We use the pool, kids club, spin classes and lots and lots of tennis. Best club we have ever been a part of.
