The service, respect, and pride couldnt be any lower at this dry cleaner. I recently moved my business into the neighborhood of the Highland Park location, and took some expensive clothes there for cleaning. My batch included a very expensive custom hand-made suit, several shirts, a tie, and a sweater. I even asked the lady working there if anything ever went wrong with cleaning there, as I had experienced poor cleaning and damage at a previous cleaner. She barely responded with a "no, I dont think so", but I was in a rush and I trusted my belongings to them. Long story short, they lost 4 of my tailored shirts. Long story worse, they, spear-headed by their lazy and irresponsible owner are being disrespectfully slow about dealing with it. I cant get the freaking owner on the phone, and everyone else keeps saying its not their fault or responsibility. Ill write another review telling of the results of the $400 lost shirts saga later, but for now, this is the absolute worst cleaners ever, and you should not trust them with your belongings. Luckily my hand-made suit is okay and safe with me.

We have used New Era Cleaners for 15 year, and spent over $10,000. Six months ago we had a shirt damaged by New Era. The shirt had a clear Iron burn on the back. We brought the shirt back and when we received it again all that had been done was that it was re-cleaned. We brought it back again, and again explained the issue. We were told that the owner Young Jeon, would contact us. After 4 months, I finally returned to the cleaners to find that nothing had been done. The shirt was just hanging over the work desk. I called the main location in Pasadena to speak directly to Mr Jeon, but the woman that answered lied to me saying that he was not there. I drove there to find him. He denied damaging the shirt stating that they ONLY use steam irons that do not get hotter than 80 degrees. First of all that is a lie. The steam irons get much hotter. Secondly, I looked in the back at the work area and saw a regular household iron on one of the steam boards. What a snake. We will never go to this cleaners again. They are dishonest.

Dont go there, you are going to regret it so bad! After reading the reviews on this page, I dropped a dress there to be cleaned. Huge mistake! I could have done a better job myself! They completely burned/melted the lining of the dress with their iron and the coton outside of the dress was significantly wrinkled, not properly ironed! On top of all this, they didnt want to hear anything, and made me pay full price!!! Awful customer service. Moreover, their "get your clothes in one day" advertisement is a lie! It took them 3 full days to do the job. If you care about your clothes, just dont go there!

New Era is one of the best that Ive tried in LA. They have a rewards card, so that Ill get discounts whenever I bring in a certain amount of clothes for cleaning. You get what you pay for, and even though theyre not the cheapest (Id say their prices are pretty average), the quality of their work is unbeatable. I dont know about you, but Id rather pay a couple cents more and make sure that my clothes turn out perfectly.
