I have been going to a local dealer to repair my car. On my last visit to the dealer they did a major service and after I got the car, I found out my air conditioner wasnt waorking. The next day i went back to the dealer and explained to them that i have no air conditioning. They told me to leave the car and theyll give me a call. They did not call me the first, but the they called me on the second day and told me that the compresser is bad on my car. They estimted it will take about $1400 to fix it. I argued with them that my air conditioner was working before they serviced it which resolved in no help to me. So I was talking to a good friend of mine and he reccomened to get an estimate from A-1 Auto Care in Rancho Cucamonga. So i called them and they gave me an estimate of only $950! I thought it was a good deal so i took it their and when i got their, it was early morning and i spoke to the service writer and i explained to them what happend. So the service writer advised me to get it inspected for $74.95 and if it needed the compressor he will apply the $74.95 toward the bill and hell call me in a few hours. Sure enough about two hours he called me and he gave me the good news; his diagnosis were that the a switch for the compressor has failed at the connecter and the switch and the repairs for the swith would be about $129 and this would get the compressor to work and theyll tell me if anything else is wrong with the air conditioning. I told them go ahead and repair it. A couple hours later he called me and told me the car is ready. Its been running for over 3 weeks with no problems at all. Now i know i have a good friend and a good mechanic! I will take my car there for anything it needs because theyre honest and they know what theyre doing. Thank you A-1!! I will recommend them to my friends!

I have to say if you need to get your vehicle fixed right and for a fair price you must go to A-1 auto care in rancho cucamonga. These guys know cars like no body else. I have a 2001 BMW 525 that started to give me some what of a poblem with over heating and the check engine light coming on. After several visits to some local shops and spending a few hundred dollars, i contunied to have the same issues. So i figured i will bite the bullet and take my car to the BMW dealership which I kind knew that will set me back $125 just for them to look at and tell what the problem was. after a few hours the dealer called and said that my problem is really simple and all I need to do is to replace my thermostat. Thats good I said to the service writer at the dealership the only problem is the other shop had just changed for me. he contuined to explain to how they might of used an after market part and thats why it is not working. So I authorized him yet again to replace it. Picked the vehicle from the dealer drove not even 10 miles before my engine started overheating. At this point I gave up and called my mom and asked her where she takes her car for service. She told that she has been taking her 740i to A-1 for the past 6 years and recommended to take my car there and see JIM or JR. I am so glad that I did beause these guys had my problem figured out in less than 3 hours and told me that my problem was the water pump. They even explained to me that on this model BMW used a plastic impeller on their water pumps and when the impeller wares out the engine will overheat. been driving my bemeer for the past 2 months with no issues. Thank you A-1 auto care jim, and jr my car will not go any where else. Honest , Fast, Fair and most important correct diagnostic. Trust me you will be happy.

FAST and Honest...I called looking for a new repair shop and was asked to bring it in for a diagnostic on why the oil pressure was dropping with the RPMs on my Jeep. After they QUICKLY looked at the issue, they reported the Oil Pressure Sender was faulty (leaking around the electronic part). The gave me a quote and dropped the Diag charge by 30%. They also notice a leak on the Power Steering and suggested a fix... They was fast, Honest (I saw the faulty parts), and repaired my car faster then originaly quoted. If you are looking for a small repair shop that is honest, fast, and helpful,,,, Call on A-1 Auto Care as I will be using them AGAIN and AGAIN.... (they just became my new repair shop) Thanks A-1 Auto Care.

Beware of the $99.00 inspection fee that they charge you to look at your car. They will credit it to repairs if they fix your car, but their price to fix it is way more expensive then local competition. Get a few quotes before you commit to these guys!! I paid their $99 fee and towed my car elsewhere, even after paying their fee and I still saved $200.00. Same exact parts they quoted and everything. Call around Rancho Cucamonga and check reviews, lots of places offer free initial inspection! Its tough finding a mechanic that you can trust, these guys where not the ones for me. Good Luck!

I have been an A-1 customer for years. They always take care of me and never try to sell me something I dont need. I refer all my friends and family too. Its best to make an appointment because theyre always busy. Youll soon know why. Last week they changed my oil. I asked them to change the cabin air filter and engine air filter. They pulled the filters and insisted it was not needed and to save my money. I know that wouldnt happen elsewhere.

Excellent service. Went for a walk in emergency alternator replacement since i m not from this area and my car died on me last night, and the guys of A-1 not only took care of it but actually found out that the problem was not the alternator but the battery. Replaced it and i was back on the road in no time. Also prices were awesome. Thank you guys for your excellent service.

I have always had good service at A-1. I recently took my wifes Honda Civic in for a wheel bearing replacement. The repair was completed within the time stated and the cost was actually slightly less than quoted.
