BEWARE OF THE FANTASTIC SAMS ON KENYON. I have been going to the place for the past year and the service has been satisfactory. However today the new stylist (Samantha) did not understand or consult with manager regarding what needed to be done. There were detail notes in their system regarding the kind of cut I usually ask for. Without paying any heed to these she started chopping. The result is - its horrible and I dont know what am I going to do about the meetings next week. Anyways moral of the story STAY AWAY FROM SAMANTHA ,... I made her aware of that she had no business cutting hair. PS I did put in few dollars in tip also which she shamelessly accepted.

I got the worst trim from this store! When I left I had layers in the middle of my head! I asked for half inch off ends only. So spoke to manager she told me to come in to get it fixed. Cat wouldnt even talk to me she made assistant manager talk to me. She convinced me that she would fix it. Its terrible! Looks like a child cut it. On Yelp theres an actual picture. I believe the manager Cat could of at least spoke to me. Cat has good reviews but shouldnt character count too? UPDATE: The manager Cat contacted me thr Yelp and has promised to fix my hair. I have been going to this particular location for at least 10 years, off and on. And for the last 2 years consistently. They always greet their customers with a smile. I have never had a problem with either hair care service or unprofessional staff. I have long, healthy hair so I am very picky and careful about which type of hair product and service I use. I particularly like that they use CHI products (no amonnia) for hair coloring. And their F.S. brand is up there with the best! I have no reason to go to a fancy, over-rated salon when I can go to my local F. Sams (:

Im not sure about the guy below me saying its budget friendly because it is by no means budget friendly. 17 dollars for a hair cut is not cheap. But my biggest complaint is that I have had bad hair cuts. The stylists cant seem to blend or fade haircuts very well when it comes to short hair. Last. Time I was there I had little patches of incur hair behind my ears.
