While customer service and reputation are very important to this repair shop and they strive to achieve the highest with both of those, their diagnostic work is very questionable at best. They (the owner in particular) are pretty quick to recommend new parts even when the existing parts only need to be minimally repaired. This seems indicative of an inability to fully assess and understand the "why" and "how" of problems and only be able to assess/understand the "where." In addition, the owner is disrespectful of the fact that a car owner knows their car best. He has argued with me about whether something is normal or not a few times instead of accepting as fact that I know what is normal and not normal about MY car!!!

This shop talked me into putting another engine into my Honda Civic. Bad decision. The new engine got horrible gas mileage and the drive ability plunged. On top of that the starter went bad, to which the shop happily charged $500 and told me it could use another $150 in ignition work. $2100 dollars essentially down the drain. An honest shop would have just told me to sell the beloved junker and kept my newer car biz. Caveat Emptor.

Got my Tahoe Fixed and Safely Driving Again When Failed. I Compared at least 8 different shops And Magallanes Auto Repair Richmond California Was By Far The Best Deal. Some people say that they are pricey. They wouldnt be saying that if they actually comparison shopped. Magallanes Was The Least Expensive By Far. They Did What They Said, They Stand By It And I Stand By Them.

Haf a misfire on my audi a6, towed the car there 1st thing in the morning with no appointment and they had me back on the road before end of day. Only complaint is they could keep us the client more informed on time frame ie. If its 4hrs dont say 2hrs

If you want to know what is wrong with your car Magallanes will figure it out! you pay for what you get. Great Service, Expert Advice, and Quick Response. He is a bit on the pricy side. He has never steered me wrong yet!

They did a good job on replacing the rear differential mount but at a much higher price than other shops. Im happy with the work but wont be going back there because I dont see why I should pay more for the same work.

#loveeeeeee these guys! I was having transmission problems... They got my 97 Volkswagen golf up and running in a matter of hrs. The dealership couldnt even do that! Honest!! FAST!! Reliable!! Friendly!!

Horrible customer service tried to order a mechanical pre-purchase inspection the lady was very rude did not let me speak, did not let me and ask questions. I would never use this place in my life
