Got in this morning at opening. Asked for a med high fade, flat on top. 5 on top 2 on sides. I made it clear I didnt want the edge rounded and first thing she does is grab the size 5 and round the top and sides of my head... CLEARLY I WASNT SPEAKING ENGLISH. Im not Hispanic or African American so you can see how this wouldnt look good. She walks away to answer the phone. I lean in closer to see the side of my head where she had buzzed in a size to deep and the apron wasnt fixed around my neck so it slides down the front of me putting hair all down my neck and on my clothes. So I pointed out where she had buzzed me and that she ignored my request of style and asked her to bring sides to a 1 to try and fix it... Well its still noticeable. The lady was very nice but clueless.

Great new hair salon that was definitely needed in the area. They did a super grand opening promotion that is still going on with $5.00 haircuts (just dont be a cheapskate...make it up in the tip) and they send out coupons once you go in and sign-up. I really like the App Check-In that lets you get on the cut list while youre on the way in, or, like in my case, still at home a couple blocks away. Wendy (?) and her girls are top notch! Great atmosphere and conversation. Its never a dull moment in there. They have good advice, and take the time to listen to what you want. Been there twice since they opened, and I cant make any complaints. This is my new salon of choice!

The first few times I had my hair cut here I had no problems but today my experience was mediocre at best. The woman (who sadly might be the manager) who cut my hair was being extremely snarky to the other customers and took all of about 30 seconds to cut my hair where others there have dedicated at least 15 minutes. It doesnt look at all like it normally does when I have gone here before. Clearly her interest was in pushing me out the door not delivering a good cut. Not worth the $18 + tip if that is the kind of service you can expect.

Ok Ive gave this place 2, even 3 chances and Im never coming back. If you want to be treated rude and get looked at stupid because you tell the lady what hair cut you want than come here. If you dont want to be treated so bad dont go to this place. The lady was practically yelling at my son for not staying perfectly still. Hes a kid so thats not gonna happen. And she smelled like a ashtray. So never coming back. Plus $18 for a horrible haircut and horrible experience, no thank you.

If you want to deal with incompetence, laziness and a stylist with a bad attitude then this is the place for you. Cant check in online, but call to check in? Dont bother. Want to have someone who hates where she works cut your hair? Go to Great Clips Rio Linda Plaza. I thought this would be a great place to get my hair cut because it is so close. Not worth it. Better to drive the extra five miles or so to avoid this place.
