I have been here several times, the 1st time was for a banquet and my hair was amazing! The second time was for my senior prom & I told her I wanted loose curls...I got really tight curls and looked like Shirley Temple! The WORST time was before my wedding! I made the appointment about a month and a half before my wedding and made it early but when I got there, there were 2 ladies there, one was already working on someone and the other was the receptionist person. I told her what the name of the girl that was suppose to be doing my hair and she got this scared look on her face. she told me that that girl had been fired a week or 2 ago. she asked if she called me and I said no. I wanted to know why I wasnt contacted by ANYONE to let me know that she had been let go and that THEY would set me up an appointment same day and time with someone else. She told me that she would call some one and have her come in early. She asked what it was for and I told her my wedding, as she repeated that to the girl on the phone. So after waiting for 2 hours for the girl who I was told would be there in 15-20 minutes and looked like she just jumped out of bed and put shoes on, she finally showed up and got started. I was having to hold the curling iron for her while she stood there and sprayed my hair with hair spray every now and then. If I knew I was going to do my own hair I would have stayed home and done it for FREE! The end result was beautiful but I paid full price and I shouldnt have for having to wait that long and basically do my own hair. But, I was already running late and didnt want to start an argument or deal with anymore crap! I will NOT be going back there!!

I have never written a negative review before, but I guess theres a first time for everything.We selected this salon to do hair and makeup for prom based off of the reviews, which we have done dozens of times in the past, but our experience this time was definitely not a positive one! We brought in a picture of how we wanted the updo. This is a style my daughter had at a different event, so we knew it would be quick, easy and attractive, but her her finished product was terrible and not even close! We ended up going home, taking it down and completely redoing it. When my daughter was in the salon and asked Ashley to fix it a bit, her comment was, "Im sorry you dont like it, but I dont have time to change it" ... yikes! Ive never had customer service like that. I called in to talk to the manager and without belaboring all the details the customer service was non existent and she wouldnt let me finish a sentence without interrupting me. I was shocked! The upside is, Ashley was pleasant to talk to while she was doing my daughters hair, but unfortunately she did the worst job we have ever seen on both the hair and makeup and didnt seem to care much if the client was happy, which seems strange in a customer based business. Oh well we wont be back for sure!

I have been very pleased with my experience with this salon this summer. As everyone knows it was a very hot summer the day of my wedding we had temperature of over 110 degrees. I was very happy for Ashley and Lisa to have done my hair and makeup for our wedding party of 9. We were worried that our hair and makeup would not hold up. But the stylists did awesome! I would recommend my friends and family to them. As a matter of fact my sister is getting married next year and they have already been in for a free consultation and have set the date for their hair to be done. The girls that did my hair was the owners. They have moved to 81st and Yale and as far as I know it is just the two of them doing hair. We were very please and will be back for sure!!

Ive had Lisa cut my hair since I was a little, she now has cut it for the pass 21 years. Shes really great and does the best to make her clients happy. She and Ashely both did my hair and make up, as well as my bridemaids, for my wedding and it turned out stunning! Shes highly creative and if you want a little more untraditional styling or the latest trend, she can do it!
