I have been going to CFDTR for over 2 years I love this box it is like my 2nd family! Coach JJ is a very dedicated coach from helping you in the kitchen when hes off the clock to helping you in the box when your dying during a brutal workout pushing you to the end of the clock! When Im off my game I ALWAYS get an encouraging text from him reminding me that I can do it and to get to the box so I can reach my fitness goals and to always keep my eye on the prize! Coach JJ is always there holding me accountable! Anyone that has anything bad to say about my box is crazy! I wouldnt trade my box for another box EVER! I love my box because its small and on a very personal level unlike other boxes that are so big you dont get the attention you pay for or that you deserve I recommend my box to anyone! You will NOT REGREAT IT! Oh yeah and did I mention coach JJ is amazing!

I dont know what bad reviews there would be about this place. This is by far the most family oriented, comfortable, supportive place ever. Coach JJ knows what hes doing, how to help you achieve your goals. Ive been going here over a year and wouldnt go anywhere else. Other boxes have such a corporate feel to them and thats not what I get from here at all. Pooh on bad reviews. This place is like family and anyone is welcomed and accepted. Its really cool to actually get to know and have a friendship with the owners. I challenge anyone to give it a try and write an honest review.

We decided to try out this CrossFit because even though most of the reviews were fairly poor. It seemed to have a great location (minus the extreme heat of daytime), and we wanted the experience of expert training not far from our home. Well, we should have listened to the bad reviews. The owner obviously has personal problems with his wife and attempts to hide behind his new found faith, worst of all I heard from another CrossFit member that the owner is in deep trouble with the law and has a shameful history.

My home away from home!! Ive been to several Crossfits over the last few years but never really felt like Id found my Crossfit home" until the day I walked in to Coach JJs box. From the very first day, it was obvious that coach cares about each of his members and makes it his mission to make everyone feel welcome. The other members are equally as welcoming and supportive. I cant believe the progress Ive been able to make in my fitness and I know I couldnt have done it without my CFDTR family!

Awesome Crossfit Gym! I was staying in downtown Riverside and the gym is within jogging distance, or a quick drive. JJ, the head coach, is warm and welcoming, and the other athletes at the gym are all the same, encouraging each other, and new people. Of course the most important part was the workout was brutal!!!! cant wait to come back to town

earlier this year I made the decision to join the Navy and a long with that I decided to join JJs class to get myself physically and mentally ready. JJ is dedicated to what he does and has helped me reach my physical goals. I definitely recommend his gym if youre looking for results and a hard workout. :)
