My Experiance with Meineke and the Owner was absolutely Horrifying !! I took my car in for a leak in the front right hand passanger side and they kept my car there all day and then told me I needed a New Water Pump and a New Timeing Belt and pully. Grrr I said but fine ok if its absolutely needed then lets go for it $ 520.00 Dollars later and a full day of keeping the car I picked it up parked it at my home which is less then a mile way and let it sit over night low and behold i wake up and under my car is a huge puddle of coolant and water. Ok I take it back to him he keeps my car all day and over night just to make sure and he tells me its not leaking whats so ever ! ummm yes it is I said he said no you are fine it is not leaking what happens again the next morning the same thing the next two mornings the same thing he said it was to full and it will be fine nope that weekend still poreing out from the bottum of my car i take it back and he says mam the leak isnt your water pump its your transmission seal its broke Grrr ok why didnt you fixed that then the first time if that was the problem wow they miss diagnosed my car so i pay to fix the seal take it home sure enought the same thing the next morning i take it back to him he keeps my car all day and i come back he tells me a hoes was loose. No my car hadnt even been moved and when we looked under the car there is a puddle so My husband decides he is going to talk to him ohh he didnt like that He chucked the keys at me and told me to fix it my self and then challanged my husband to a fight and told him what are you going to do about it Dog ? Well youll see... all see you in court Meineke thats what I am going to do about it !!!!! Dont ever take your car to this place its a Rip Off !! Save your self a couple bucks a head of time and pay the dealer or a repable mechanic always check there reviews on line before going to fix it :) because Now thats where My car is to day and is getting fixed. 3 weeks later and $ 600 dollars wasted to pay again to day what i should have only paid the first time. Sad thing is the New Company just called me to tell me that it wasnt my water Pump it was my Heater core Hose and theromostat. WOW !!!! Another $655.00 Down.

DO NOT, DO NOT, EVER, THINK ABOUT GOING HERE!!!! so my girlfriends car was having issues during the week, and because of my work schedule, I could not take the car to my regular mechanic. she suggested this place. I thought we can maybe just get a quote and if it was convenient, we can have it fixed. so they gave her a $1600 quote, and scared her half to death with "fixes" the car needed, they talked her into leaving the car overnight, until we decided. they kept pressuring her to take a "payment" plan and that they would not run it as credit because they can just approve it. luckily my phone was broken and she HAD to speak to me first. The car was left there over night and when I saw my girlfriend my first thought was, "SCREW THAT"!! I knew the brakes were bad and may have damaged the rotors but not $1600 in fixes. so I call off work the next day and show up at the place, and our car was taken apart ready to be worked on. I approached a mechanic immediately and asked the person working on the car who authorized them to work on our vehicle. apparently he was a mute, so I requested to speak to the manager. at that time the manager was walking out and I asked if he was the manager, and who had authorized him to take apart my vehicle. at first he looked like an idiot with no clue of what to say and I kept insisting we did not agree to have any work done on the vehicle. so what did this business magnate resort to? he begins cursing and having a tantrum like a 6 year old. I seriously thought I was going to have to end up fighting the manager to get my car back. he tells his employees to put the car back together and tells me to take the vehicle when they are done. I went to my regular mechanic and had the car fixed for $500 on a REAL payment plan. This place schemes on people, especially women. If you have a complaint, the manager will happily address it by challenging you to a fight. I am contacting corporate as well and will be pursuing other avenues to make sure this place is held accountable.

JUST AWFUL! Avoid this place like the plague! They will give you a great price then tell you you need all this extra stuff that should have been included in the original price. On top of that they will neglect to put all your parts back on the car and leave your car a filthy mess. We were traveling through town and had a head gasket blow. These guys promised the best price and they were. After the car was all apart, they wanted us to pay extra for coolant, seals, a water pump and timing belt; some of which are necessary to perform a head gasket job, others that had just recently been replaced under regular service. By the time I got the car to our hotel, I noticed that the A/C didnt blow cold, a large puddle of coolant under the car, and a missing bracket for the A/C shroud. I called the next morning and the manager (Clemente) told me that the leak was the water pump I had refused to replace. They didnt know where the bracket was because the mechanic who worked on our car was "probably in Mexico by now". And they just plain forgot to recharge the A?C. The leak turned out to be a loose clamp on the lower radiator hose. When I asked further about the A/C bracket, they told me that they had given me a great price and not to come back! When I went to pack up our luggage I found oily, greasy dirt all over the cargo bay. After we finally got home, I went to replace the missing A/C bracket and found that they had ripped another bracket apart at the weld instead of removing a single bolt. This place is the most unprofessional group of hacks I have ever dealt with. We contacted Meineke corporate and they pretty much just blew us off. Its pretty obvious that Meineke does not care about anything but ripping off its customers.

This place is under new ownership just recent, the news staff are GREAT, these guys know what theyre doing and take care of the customer..I took my truck for a transmission rebuild when it was under the previous owner and it was a big hassle to go through, they kept my truck for a long time and they kept jumping from date to date of when the truck should be ready so I had already told myself I was never going to go back to that meineke ever again and anyone that would ask me about it I was going to not recommend it at all and avoid them the trouble..but the new owner came in I talked to him properly about the issue and they took care of me, slapped on a brand new transmission for my inconvenience when he didnt even have to but he did and I am happy with that Meineke spot and no other..my truck runs amazing. The job they did I know myself that it was worth more than I had paid for..they gave me my truck back when they said they were and a week or so after I went back to get my valve cover gaskets done and they gave me my truck back same day a couple hrs after and my truck has no oil leaks anymore thanks to them..I am very happy with the new staff & owner, they made it better after all that I went through with the previous owner..Im telling people this place is under new ownership, new staff and they will get the job done and not try to overcharge like previous owner this place is now legitimate...like I said I was never going back there but now I am definitely going back for brakes, oil changes, etc. You name it. Go check it out for yourself and experince the difference in customer service, car care knowledge and punctuality! I just want to say Thank you to the new owner and staff at the van buren meineke, you guys are awesome!
